The accommodation was great and we would definitely recommend it to everyone! If we ever return to the Isle of Skye, this hotel will be our first choice. We expected the hotel will be beautiful and new but it managed to exceed our expectations! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and large. The bathroom including the shower was great. They have our favorite brand of cosmetics. The breakfast was more than delicious. The staff is very kind, they helped us book a restaurant on new year's eve! The best hotel we ever visited!

The room was absolutely amazing modern clean, warm and welcoming the reception we experienced was friendly and beyond kind, the atmosphere of the whole hotel and staff is beyond what we expected.

Disappointing

The food was good.

We requested to cancel 1 of 2 rooms we had paid for, as our grandfather had fallen a few days before and couldn't make the trip. The hotel refused to allow the cancellation which was fair as the period for cancellation had passed. However, what we were shocked about was their refusal to allow us to cancel breakfast which we had paid for with the room. We travel fairly frequently, and in the many hotels we've stayed in, none have been quite so inflexible.

Excellent stay

An excellent stay - lovely room with some nice design touches.

This isn't a negative but with their room info online rather than hard copy, its easy to miss some great communal areas - I only found out about the relaxation room in the lower floor by accident which was a great place to hang out

A very cozy room, nice layout, with high quality amenities provided in the room incl the cashmere blanket, toiletries.

Location, room, parking, amenities in the room, staff.

The room cleaning was very lousy, simply the cleaner just threw the trashes and replenish supplies but no proper tidy up of the room esp tidy up the bedsheet/linen. No lift, no fridge in the room, pricey room rate

Lovely experience, and location. Appreciate the staffs open arms with our needs and desires. Loved Skye, Portree, and

Interior space was tastefully appointed, rooms as well.

No inside security lock for the rooms entry door. Peculiar and unacceptable. Also, and no fault of the Marmalade, but the apts/business directly across the front parking is an eye sore/messy. Quite unfortunate.

Beautiful place!

The rooms were very clean and furnished well/modern. Bed comfortable! Shower amazing (best we had during trip around country). Staff very accommodating and friendly. Easy walk to pubs.

No mini fridge in room.
