Gorgeous property, amazing amenities.
Gorgeous property. Well maintained renovation, amazing rooms with everything you could need.
$$$$, breakfast at Layla was average. Toast not toasted, bacon deep fried, wait staff not very friendly. No shampoo or soap in shower dispensers.

Quaint hotel, quiet grounds, and convenient to local restaurants.
Pool was closed
The pool being closed was a major ding. And I thought I had booked a room with a terracewhich was important, because Id planned on doing work outdoors there. I ended up writing indoors at the common lounge across from the check-in desk, and occasionally outside of the property cafe.

Nice hotel but pool under reconstruction..
Great hotel, nice room and friendly staff.
They were reconstructing the pool area over the summer and this was the main reason we chose this hotel. As it was a hot summer weekend it was extremely disappointing to hear about this. The unavailability of the pool was not mentioned anywhere on the Booking page. If we would have known about this we would not have paid so much money to stay here..

Wonderful experience, great friendly staff, relaxing and pleasant atmosphere
Everybody from the hotel made us feel very comfortable - it was a wonderful experience. Will come back again
some small things, e.g water from the shower could leak through the door as its not insulated, shampoo stand was not properly fixed, but these are very small details
