Very good

Very clean, spare but adequate furnishings, comfortable bed and nice shower, friendly breakfast, and THE VIEW!

Sketchy elevator costs 10cents to operate (although there is a bowl of coins at reception). And, like many places in Napoli, there is no way to get there from here. 20 minutes up a steep hill and back down another to get to a destination that would have been 5 min directly. About 30 min from central station by taxi and longer by bus, so not very convenient to city center.

A World Class View

The room was well equipped. And the view from my ptivate balcony over the whole Bay of Naples and Vesuvius is definitely one of the finest views in the world. The place was great, although the elevator situation was sketchy. But, beyond that I give it a 10. I could have sat at that little table with wine and cheese forever. Also, Naples is fabulous, chaotic and beautiful.

Pleasantly surprised with this B&B

The location is very good, it's safe to walk alone any time. The view from the balcony was exceptional!! The staff was polite and friendly. Very big, bright and clean room. More than enough for one person. Owner was very responsive with queries. It's very quiet place if you want to relax. Amazing beach just across the road.

The lift situation is tricky, I got stuck couple of times as the doors were not shut on other floors. Would be good to have option to borrow iron. It's quite far from central, so better to have a car if you stay there. And for longer stay would be good to have more variety for breakfast.

Highly recommended!

Beautiful view from the window - Posillipo generally has one of the most magnificent views of the Mount Vesuvius. Great host, perfect communication every time we needed support (even in the evening - when the elevator wasn't working as it wasn't closed properly). Breakfast served, you can choose what you like. Most of the ingredients are non-perishable. Metro station is approx 10 min of walking. Grocery nearby, you can buy fresh food and eat at the balcony with the view of Vesuvius (see picture). Amazing restaurant Il Miracolo dei Pesci nearby, definitely worth trying! Taxi Airport - B&B Lux was 55 EUR.

I would vote for non-squeaky bed. This was the only drawback. But otherwise absolutely no complaints!

Very good

The view was amazing (the main reason why we booked this place). In a walkable distance, you can reach the seaside and have dinners or snacks in one of the many chalets. The breakfast is with commercial products (nothing homemade), yet very abundant and good for a nice awakening. Can take free water bottles (very important when in Naples is 40 degrees)

The elevator is not free of charge but the receptionist can give you coins for it (at the check-in, make sure to have it or make a call before you go up the stairs with heavy luggage). Parking places on the street can be hard to find in crowded times.

The view was good, not entirely as expected, due to the area, but calming

1. The breakfast was very bad. I will not be able to see another cake for a long time! All you get is sweet food and, after couple of days it gets really too much! Continental breakfast means so much more! Coffee is also on short supply as all they have is a small coffee machine and the coffee you get is gets topped up with hot water from a kettle 2. The room is very basic for the money you pay. It does the job. However, the shower can be a bit cleaner and, in the bathroom, a hook or two would not go a miss because there is no place to hang one clothes; they always end up on the floor 3. there is no kettle or tea/coffee in the room. On request, you might get access to the one in the kitchen, but maybe one does not want to go in the kitchen whenever one needs a cup of coffee or tea, in one's pyjama or worse. This is a basic need! 4. Before each guest comes in, a quick check if everything in the room works would be great. A working fridge, AC, etc would be very much appreciated especially when tired after a long travel and the weather is hot! The things were fixed next day but we spent a night drinking warm water and sweating. Couple of water bottles in that working fridge, waiting for the thirsty guests, would be also very much appreciated. 5. Although one needs only 3 keys, we have been given a ring with lots of keys and always had to fumble through them to find the right key for the right door 6. The curtains are very thin. This is not good, especially in a room that is getting very bright sun all morning and even with the shutter closed, as these were not fixed to close properly, one gets a lot of sun in the room and cannot sleep in the morning

Nice and clean rooms, a little away from the crazy bustle of Naples

The views are spectacular! And the breakfast was prepared by a nice lady and includes a varied selection.

The B&B itself is on a block of flats. Really confusing to exit if you are not using the elevator which cost 10c in peak hours. There was also a loud party by the beach where we can here all the way in our room
