Very good

Overall very good. Close to the beach. Safe for the kids to enjoy the water.

Our group of 12 enjoyed our stay very much; nice clean spacious cabins and ablutions, helpful staff,

The spacious cabins were excellent, with plenty of kitchen equipment.

Not all the showers worked as they should; in one or two in the women's it was impossible to get the cold water thus making it far too hot to stand under.

The location is amazing and the staff couldn't be nicer. It was clean and quiet (the place has "motor" in it, but we haven't heard any:), there is a little hike and they rent kayaks.

Good but hidden charges

Location is extremely scenic with its own beach! Staff are so helpful and friendly. Everything was so organised, clean and well set up. Very impressed with the facilities. Well stocked shop on site.

No bed sheets were provided, and there is an extra fee if you want to connect to the WiFi. Showers require a prepayment that can be difficult as it is not immediately made known to the guest upon check-in. I stayed in a private cabin, and towels were also not provided but available for a fee.

It was a lovely place to start our trip of NZ. Great hikes and birdwatching, very laid back.

Location was wonderful, right on the beach edge , hence the view was amazing. We wished we could have stayed another day. The kitchen was fine for an overnighter and appeared to have everything one needed. Beds were comfortable. It was a funky place and probably better suited to warm outdoor living not early Spring.

The bathroom could have had a shelf to put toiletries .
