L'Oceanica Beach Resort

Though there are a lot of choices during the meals, the quality is medium and it is either tasteless or just not good. The same for the alcoholic drinks and cocktails, I tried them several times and then just switched to water and tea (coffee is terrible too). All the drinks and food are served in plastic by default (except in the main restaurant), I had to ask for a reusable glass or a mug or a plate every time. The beach is sand mixed with pebbles, but I guess it is ok if you have special shoes. The beach is supposed to be a non-smoking area, but a lot of people smoke and the personnel just ignores them. The territory of the hotel is relatively small, the water slides are very basic, but it could be fun for small children. There is loud music until midnight every night, the isolation between the rooms is bad, I could hear people shout and snore in the next room, so it gets quite noisy at night. The personnel seem tired all the time, they are neither very friendly nor helpful, though ther are exceptions of course. Most of them speak Russian but not English (most of the clients speak Russian too). The wifi is free in the lobby and in the beach, but not in the rooms.

There is a photo saloon in the hotel which advertises its service to those who stay at the hotel. We had a photo session, and after it we were asked to select photographs which we would like to buy. We agreed that we select photographs, and the photographer copies selected digital photographs to us at specific price. In spite of the oral agreement, the photographer printed photos of us and our 2-year-old child and began asking us to pay 2 times more since he printed the photographs. We were shocked since it is illegal to print photographs of children without any agreement with parents. It was extremely unprofessional. Since we didn't know what he intended to do with the printed photographs, we bought them as well. In about 10 minutes after the accident we have reported this case to the receptionist. Surprisingly, the receptionist told us that the photo-service is no related to the hotel and they are not responsible for any issues that are related to this service. We were shocked since this service is based on the territory of the hotel and is located inside their building. This technically means that the hotel is not responsible for services that are promoted at the hotel and possibly can be illegal. Next day was out last day in the hotel, we were about to leave at 10 am, and the receptionist asked to come at 9am to to talk to their manager. Unfortunately, the manager was not available at this time, during his office hours. We asked for book of complaints, but receptionist refused our request telling us that they do not have it. This is completely unprofessional and incompetent. We left the hotel with deep disappointment and frustration. Other issues: Very noisy in the afternoon and a child was not able to fall asleep during a day. We had to go outside to lull our baby to sleep in a stroller.

Everything else. This could only be a 4 star hotel at best. They don't use air conditioning in the corridors or in the lobby. Even in the restaurants, they will turn them on if you complain while having your meal in the restaurant. They use the cheapest watered-down alcoholic beverages in bars, and moreover they close the bars in the hotel at 23:00. Unacceptable for an all inclusive package. We were supposed to be on vacation... Turkish coffee is also paid. Rooms are smaller than the pictures. Slides are activated twice in a day. They are supposed to have a "doctor" in the hotel who never shows up. My child slipped and hit his head near the pool, we called him and he said he was "free" that he would send someone and that person never showed up . Afterwards one hotel employee took us to the hospital and yet I paid the full price out of my own pocket and this employee was scolded for helping us by a receptionist. Worst hotel experience I've ever had. Avoid it. They will charge you full price but try to save up on everything which doesn't make sense at all promoting that this hotel is "all inclusive".
