Very nice and secluded spot. Lots of fun!!

It was a bit difficult to find the apartment because we reached after sunset. But once we found it, the staff were amazing, very helpful.

Gracious Host and Serenity, Yet Leeches and Amenities Shortcomings

The host was fantastic. She took our complaints seriously and made every effort to ensure a comfortable stay. She assisted us in reaching Kandy, offering both information on the bus and even a ride in her car. There's a nearby bus stop with frequent (every 20-30min) services to Kandy (approximately an hour to the centre). The owner graciously accepted our decision to shorten our stay, displaying understanding and continued friendliness. The location, surrounded by nature, offers numerous positive aspects such as tranquillity, the chance to spot monkeys, and an abundance of greenery.

Due to heavy rain, there were numerous leeches, but the owner assisted us in dealing with them. It's advisable not to stand on the grass to avoid them. Finding the place can be a bit challenging; you need to walk up a narrow road. Unfortunately, neither the room nor the shower had a trash bin. Additionally, there was no soap in the bathroom, and toilet paper was also unavailable.

recommend for whom need to feel safe and loved

There are times in a trip that you need to feel safe, that there is someone who is truly there for you.We got to Kandy at a time where catastrophes were happening in our country.and on top of everything we were scamed at a spice garden. the owner of this place is truly an angel. We called her by her short name-help. and she gave us all the help we could wish for. She halped us with the scamers and we got our mony back. She was completely in love with our two girls, and when ever she could, she would give us rides or came with us on the bus, to show us the wonders of this place. Even her family where very kind and caring with us and with our children. for nature lovers this is a wonderful place. 2 min walk to a great river were its fine to bath. right next to the place there is a waterfall. a haven for private and close time with nature.

I have to say the uphill walk with the suitcases to the room was not easy... and it was not easy to find a rid with a tuk tuk or a restaurant nearby. and the single beds was good for our children but I don't think it will be comfortable for adults.

Superb

Comfortable room, very nice view, the most friendly owner and delicious dinner.

Alp (the owner) was the best! She was very welcoming and we enjoyed all the stories she told! Also she showed us around on their beautiful property and the cooked a delicious meal for us. The room was comfortable with a great balcony. This accommodation is less suitable if you are afraid of dogs, as there are 3 (cute ones). It is close to Kandy but it feels as if you are in the middle of the nature.
