price/amenities is good, the room is small but enough

good breakfast, nice staff, mosquito net, good location we came 12 a.m. after long transfer and no problem with check-in

shower is very close to the toilet so the water splashed to the toilet the mosquito net was smelled of dust

The bikerental. The calm location, close to center.

Not so clean. Spiderwebs in bathroom and the sink was dirty. The matress was not so comfortable.

Very generous, kind and friendly host. Very helpful with information about the local area, organising bikes to tour the sites. Lovely breakfasts. Would recommend Lakeside Villa.

Exceptional

Great private and relaxing place by the lake

The room was very clean, the owner was very helpful and i had called 3 places before and they did not pick up. He was very responsive and attentive to our needs. The environment is relaxing and you can have a good night's sleep. The washroom was also good with hot water available.

The living area on the top floor didnt have a trashcan. But it was available in the bedroom. Wifi could be improved compared to other places.

Superb

The location is great, out of the city center, quite and close to the lake. The breakfast is AMAZING!!! I was not able to finish it... The owner was always ready to help and he even played boardgames with us! The area is really quite and you can find nice restaurants close by.

Simple room

Staff were able to arrange a tuk tuk for us at short notice to visit the ancient city as it was too rainy to hire bikes. They also arranged tuk tuks for when we needed to get around the city. They were able to keep our bags after the check out time and we picked them up later in the day. Basic room with working fan, Wi-Fi and hot water.

Location is a bit far from the ancient city, train and bus stations so you need to take a tuk tuk everywhere. The tuk tuks arranged by the property were also much more expensive than those we got ourselves around the city. Breakfast wasnt available at the property which was a bit of a shame as one of the reasons we booked this place was because of other good reviews about the breakfast! Also the food options near the property within walking distance were not the best. Staff were helpful but we sometimes struggled to communicate and understand each other in English.

Good

Good value for stay close to city center.

The location is great. Walking distance to city center and various dining and drinking options next to the lake. Owner of the hotel is very helpful. Rooms are basic.

City itself is a bit expensive. Be prepared to pay more for tuktuk fare.
