The perfect room to stay in all of Oia!

This place is just out of this world - the deluxe suite with the sunset view was simply exceptional! Amelia was most amazing as a host and the view from the room ...so worth it!

Awful. Third-world experience and service.

The location is excellent. It is close to the castle and center of everything. The view from property is spectacular. Breakfast was carried to the room promptly in the morning, including hot dish and a good selection of everything.

Air conditioner did not work in my room. It was very warm in the end of September. I had to call staff numerous times and each time they would come gaslighting me that I was crazy. Several south Asian staffs could not speak fluent English. One of them called a waiter from the Castro restaurant to talk to me and he was not courteous. I felt threatened and unsafe in this third-world experience. I spent hours getting the manager to switch me to another room. This place does not live up to expectation. My honest advice is to avoid it. Do not stay here. It is too risky for your hard earned vacation..

Definitely want to come back!

We loved this hotel! So adorable, clean and cozy and the views are perfect! Watching the sunset from the comfort of our room was a highlight of our honeymoon. Also the breakfast was unbelievable!

It is a little crowded around sunset time but thats to be expected in Oia! Location is great so thats the trade off.

Nice room with indoor jacuzzi, beautiful sunset can be seen from the balcony, very good breakfast served in the room.

It is not recommended for anyone who has physical issues due to stairs to the room.

A gem of a place in Oia.

The particular Kastro Oia house we stayed at had a wonderful view of the Caldera and was private. The access was by way of many steps but we were met at the place where the taxi dropped us by two staff who carried our bags all the way down to our cave like apartment and on our departure did the same. The breakfast was brought every morning at the time we requested and it was fantastic with fresh coffee.. Greek and American coffee, eggs ,pastries, fresh bread, fresh fruit.. all very delicious and freshly baked. We could enjoy the glorious sunset from our terrace balcony with direct views while enjoying a glass of wine. The inside of the house was beautifully furnished with painted wall frescoes and was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

You pay for the views :)

Location is fantastic with a great sunset view and beautiful balcony. Staff are wonderful! Good selection of breakfast items.

No directions to the property were provided, and there is no signage like with the other hotels. There are a lot of stairs, and no one offered to help with my bag when I checked in. You cannot control the AC. The room was a bit dirty (white stains on couch, greasy dressing table) there was a huge puddle/mold/hole in the wall where the hot tub sits. Hot tub takes forever (12+ hours) to heat up and turns the room into a sauna because there is no cover for it. Made for some sweaty sleeping. Oia lost power while I was there which was fine, but it happened at night and the room had no emergency lights, and no one came to offer a flashlight. No plates or flatware provided in the kitchenette.

perfect sunset view

the hotel was the perfect place to watch the sunset from the balcony. the breakfast provided was great with a lot of options. the cave house is very unique and perfect for a romantic getaway. the cats that live there are very very cute!

we had a few issues getting to oia and the hotel said there was no public transport there when there was. when our room was serviced they didn't clean the used cups or top up the body wash which i thought was strange when you pay 370euros a night for a place. i don't think the jaccuzi worked properly as the jets stopped after 1 min and you had to keep pressing the button. it didn't heat up either which is a shame if you want to use it at night. checkout was at 10am and at 9.53 the cleaner came and kicked us out, moving our bags outside. this left a bad taste to our stay as we were just savoring the last few mins of the great view, to then being unceremoniously kicked out

This was the perfect location in Oia and the daily breakfast was wonderful.

It would be nice to give guests a menu to choose from for breakfast as some of the items they provided we don't usually eat, so it was wasted.

Loved the location, the room was fabulous and the staff were outstanding.

It would be good if there was a full length mirror in the room. It would also be good if you could select your own options for breakfast.

Pleasant and convenient to the popular area of Oia, staff and owner are so welcome and assistive.

It wasn't easy to find the hotel, and I got lost, I phoned the reception because I needed assistance, didn't realised that I could phone them to get help with suitcases. It was so convenient to get to the hotel from walking around Oia as we needed a break during the middle of the day as it got too hot.

The villa we booked didn't come with sofas, only a few chairs to sit on in the room where it connects the two rooms and kitchenette. Indoor hot tub could be warmer. Breakfast was lovely with a great view but no options to choose, the egg was dry.
