Worth the experience in Grindelwald

Excellent view against the uphill and cabin. Comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Some walking distance from train station. No hot water jug in room.

OK in general

Breakfast was enough diverse. Bread always fresh and tasty. Location ok - bus stop + access to villlage.

Lighting in the room was not enough. and one of the day with most guests it run out of hot water around 17.00h. No skiboots dryer. It is planned to make a renovation for the next season...

The perfect hotel for a stopover in Grindelwald

I loved this hotel. Visited in late November as a last minute booking while in Switzerland. Its warm and cosy and although fairly basic, it was all we needed. It was comfortable, and we loved the lounge area with honesty bar. You can help yourself to noodles, beers, snacks which is super handy. Perfect location for the town and for the cable cars. Parking was included which was awesome.

Mountain View was Charming and Staffs was Friendly & Helpful

No elevator is really hectic to bring heavy luggage up & down (we do understand is a 100yrs old building) It will also be good if there are tables and chair at the centralise hot water area for us to eat-in comfortably

The staff at the facility were very polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean

The rooms were very small and due to the wooden structure, there was a noise when walking, which may disturb you while you sleep.

Great balcony view to the mountains, good location just 5min walk to train station and town center, delicious breakfast, clean and spacious room, welcoming staff

We liked everything, it was our favorite hotel during a 10-day trip around Switzerland!

Very good

A great place to stay and a place worth considering if youre visiting Grindelwald.

The view from the room is splendid! Staffs were very helpful. We can even purchase tickets for activities direct from the reception. All in all it was very convenient and a pleasant stay.

No lift/elevator is available.
