The only positive experience was that we could move to other JS hotel, which was much better.

Was not a pleasant experience at all. We arrived at the hotel, and at the check-in, everything seemed all right except that the saunas were not open because of the rain and that was quite strange, but when we got to the room, the experience went quickly down. The room had a really unpleasant smell of mould. It was dirty and full of hairs that were not ours, the faucet in the bathrom was not working, the furniture was damaged. The other room that they showed us was the same, so we decided that we would like to transfer to another hotel of JS group. The personnel at the reception treated us like there is something wrong with us (except one receptionista was understanding) instead of admitting that the hotel is full of issues. We only wanted, in our opinion, the bare minimum standard for 4*hotel. It was the worst hotel we ever stayed in. The staff in the restaurant worked really hard, but they were visibly understaffed, so the service there was not the best either. We would recommend the owners of the JS hotels group to check the real situation of the rooms and the whole experience as normal guests.

Pleasant

Ok for 5 night stay.

Very friendly staff. Close to the beautiful beach. Shops and restaurants very close

No soundproofing very noisy at night door slamming kids running down corridor. No privacy on balcony. Small pool area.. beds low and not very comfortable. Small thin towels.

Amazing hotel, amazing service!

The staffs were amazing! The receptionist, Nur was always so helpful, presented care and made us feel familiar. She was also so patience and professional. The restaurant staffs were working so hard to keep up with the crowed rush under breakfast and dinner to provide high level of service without break. About the buffet breakfast and dinner the selection and the quantitiy were huge and lot. The room attendent ladies done everyday an amazing job! Cleaned the room, hoovered and moped the floor, changed towels and refreshed the bathroom. The hotel was extremly clean, the room were perfect! The bed was so comfortable! The swimming pool was always clean and tidy! All of our respect to them to keep up this hard work continiously!

The food selection was extremly huge what is a good things until did not effect negatively on the quality. Maybe its just our taste but if you say Russian salad, Snitzel or any other nationality food, it should be kept it as its the original recepies not to changed for unrecognisable way. Should be more presented the allergies on the food description.

James's short stay at JS Alcudi- Mar

Perfect location right in the centre of Playa de Muro, truly excellent location with easy access to everything, many restaurants & shops within walking distance of the hotel & with the bus stop just literally only across the road, it's also a perfect location for day trips or for an easy return to the airport & stops just a few feet away from the Hotel entrance at Las Gaviotas. Very easy access to Playa de Muro beach just a straight ahead three minutes walk from the Hotel entrance. Extremely friendly staff & very good food.

I was a little disappointed with my room. The rooms are small but maybe upgrades are also available. Found it a little difficult to open & close the room door & also could not open the Balcony door. For this reason, it is probably not the best value for money as the Hotel is pricier than many others in the area.

The location is what you are paying for. The beach is beautiful and super close.

Overall, it was overrated. It wasn't a comfortable stay. If your neighbours are loud, you hear them. If there are people in the hallway, you hear them. Beds were not comfy.
