Superb

Location is amazing and the staff were extremely friendly, going out of their way to assist us in any way they could. The room was quite large, but not particularly pretty. However, once you walked on the terrace the lake view was rewarding. The bathroom could also benefit from some modernisation. There is also dedicated secure parking, although it is a bit of a walking distance from the hotel

You can not reach the hotel by car so you rely on them sending someone to assist with the luggage. Also it is located around 6Km from Como centre and the road leading to the hotel is a bit of an experience (narrow and quite windy requiring frequent stops when cars cross from opposite directions)

Nothing was too much, very well catered for with dinner and breakfast. The location has a quiet community feel, which was welcomed after travelling.

The water taxi wasn't running from the dock due to repairs of the dock. But that wasn't the hotels fault.

Quite and charming location. Rooms are airy and clean with great views. The staff are exceptional. The breakfast is great and view that cannot be beaten. Restaurant for evening meals was also top class.

Beautiful view from the Lake View Room

This property was just perfect. It's located right next to the ferry port on the edge of the water. We had the King room with a lake view and that view was amazing! The room was vary spacious with a private balcony overlooking the lake. The breakfast was great and served in a room with a beautiful view of the lake.

Torno is a gorgeous town, but it's very small, so there is not a lot to do in the town. The ferries can get you to other towns on the lake, but they can be crowded or sold out.

Would give this hotel/restaurant a 10 out of 10

Breakfast was more than we needed. The one was like young woman who staffed a breakfast service was so friendly and always had a smile on her face. We had room the room concordia. Blew us away with the water view on three sides of the room. the room was amazing, the housekeeper, as we passed her, always had a smile on her face. Staff at the reception desk always had a smile on their face and were more than accommodating. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We ate dinner at bar Italia across the parking lot, as the restaurant was closed the day we arrived. We did eat dinner in the restaurant the rest of our stay. Staff in the restaurant were so friendly and accommodating. The food I would give a 10 out of 10. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We are looking to book next October to come back.

A great 5 days rest in stunning surroundings

Perfect location with great views from our balcony of the lake and surrounding mountains. It was also fascinating to see the ferry coming and going and the mixture of people walking around the tiny harbour. After the last tourist left, late afternoon the square became quieter with just local residents enjoying the sunset and the few restaurants. The hotel staff were unobtrusive but always available to help when needed. Perfect design in all aspects of the rooms. To top it all a great buffet breakfast to enjoy while looking over the lake.

Treat yourself!

Absolutely amazing stay, truly once in a lifetime. The staff could not have been more helpful, or warm and welcoming. They were genuinely extraordinary and made our family's stay so wonderfully memorable. The property also was fantastic. Would absolutely 100% stay here again.

Location was divine - it suited us perfectly arriving by ferry from Como . We travelled in Europe for 6 weeks and our stay at Il Belvedere was one of the highlights .

Torno is a small village so a small selection of restaurants however the hotel restaurant and the lovely and friendly restaurant at the bed and breakfast was great . One could also go into Como via ferry for an early dinner .
