Superb

Convenient, good value!

Convenient location by the train station, 15-20 minute walk from the port and let panier. Friendly staff. Nice big free breakfast and free water. Helpful to store the luggage. Small room but comfortable and quiet. They let me check in a little early.

For the price, it worked well for a night!

The property is a short walk from the train and coach station for the coach to the airport. There are a few eateries around, but it is a comfortable walk to the old port. The staff were very good and the bed very comfortable.

I found my room to be a little cold, but couldn't make a difference with the air conditioning control panel. Entry later at night requires calling a staff member with a bell It took about five minutes to gain entry on the only night that I was out late.

I wanted to stay close to gare st Charles, therefore it was a good location.

The first room I was offered wasnt clean I got instantly another room no further questions asked the 2nd room was alright. Check out at 12 was just perfect for me.

Unfortunately there was no decaffeinated coffee option, no plant based milk and not much vegan breakfast option, but that is generally difficult in Marseille ;) The other guests seamed very happy with their breakfast :) Other than that the tea options are amazing!

Excellent breakfast with zero waste ethos, high quality ingredients, freshly baked homemade cake and biscuits, great breads, jams, cheeses etc. Location right by the station and a shortish walk from the port. Nice staff, straightforward check-in and a water cooler in the lobby to refill before you head out into the hot streets.

Rooms are quite small. Bathroom furnishings of poor quality. Decor a bit tacky.

Superb

Convenient hotel for Marseille travellers.

Good breakfast included, available from 5.30am on weekdays. Very good for catching an early train or bus. Hotel very close to St Charles train and bus stations and metro.

Exceptional

My ideal hotel in Marseille St. Charles.

The location was ideal for me, arriving in Marseille by train. The hotel is at the foot of the grand staircase of St Charles station. The receptionist was very obliging, giving me a room on the 1st floor at my request. The self-service breakfast (included in the price) was plentiful and varied.

No adverse comments.

Ideal for a short stay.

Simple, uncrowded accommodation, fairly close to the city centre. The hotel is ideally placed for arrival by train. Above average breakfasts. Limited local cafes, restaurants and bars.

Not immediately obvious from the road when arriving at night.

Good

Very decent breakfast (though some extra slices of fruit could be good), location excellent, functional with good bed.

A bit disappointing in comparison with other Ibis Styles I've been too. Check-in wasn't optimal (but the man at check out was very friendly), the room could use more light, the bathroom a slight modernisation (eg shower head always falling, shower door didn't fit 100%, etc).
