Disappointing

The staff are friendly.

Awful experience no sound proofing, like staying in card board city! You could hear your noisy neighbours talking until the early hours., if your looking for a restful holiday avoid this hotel. Please read all the reviews as this will give you some idea what to expect.

This is a huge hotel with all pros and cons. We stayed one night end of october to catch an early flight as hotel i fairly close to the airport. Personally prefer smaller hotels if I have the option but good enough for the purpose. A bit off season to appreciate the beach and pooles, frendly staff fixed bar-meny so we could have sandwiches and drinks, unfortunately no time for breakfast 4 am. Friendly staff at the front desk helped out to fix a taxi in early morning.

Poor view and windy like hell on the balcony on the 5th floor.

Great hotel with small 'but'

1. Great location - just by the beach and near (15 minutes walk) to Renfe (train) station that takes you straight to Malaga in 15 minutes for 2 EUR. 2. Nice and safe surroundings. Lots of bars, restaurants. 3. Great pools (although not heated and thus quite cold in November). 4. Clean room. Comfortable bed. 5. Beautiful lobby area and great views from restaurant (sea view)

1. The rooms offer very little sound isolation. You can literally hear every word that neighbors say, you can hear them putting charger into socket. 2. Staff should be more attentive to guests. Two days before arrival they sent me an offer for late checkout for EUR17 which I ordered online, next day I got confirmation. On arrival day I told reception lady that I have late checkout at 15:00 and she confirmed, on departure day at 11:15 I reconfirmed at the reception that I will be checking out late at 15:00.... only to be find out at 12:05 that doors to my room are locked and card does not work, so I had to go back again to reception to tell them that I have late checkout and they unlocked the key. Not really best way to spend time. Also the 100EUR deposit that they pre-authorize on checkin on your credit card makes you feel unwelcome. Yes they do return that on departure, but still given how friendly Spanish people are, I find such deposits strange.
