Excellent location in a modern, well appointed hotel with amazing soundproofing.

Its an immaculately kept hotel with very modern amenities. Very comfortable beds and great sound proofing which is great for an in town hotel. Walking distance to all place of interest in Reykjavik. Excellent breakfast!

We had an incredible stay at this amazing hotel. It was perfectly located, with a cozy atmosphere and warm hospitality. The team were friendly, responsive, and made sure to offer us an exceptional experience. The breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to all my friends!

Great location and the staff where great. The food was amazing and the service was fab. The bar staaf very talkative and helpful. The room was fabulous and up to date.

Plenty of better places to stay in the city for far less. Not good value for money.

The location - just a short walk to the city centre.

The heating in the room didn't work properly, so it was mostly quite cold - not what you need in freezing conditions. We were given a small plug in heater to combat the cold - not even an offer to change rooms. Breakfast was TOTALLY self service while the staff just drifted around ( on one occasion it took one of them 3 visits to our table to pick up 2 bowls and a cup!) The beds are exceptionally soft and had 2 small single light quilts. Not conducive to romance or keeping warm!! For over 500 a night, I would expect an AWFUL lot more effort and interest from the staff and far better in room facilities. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND! We weren't even asked if we enjoyed our stay - I handed in our key, the guy at reception said thanks and that was that!!

Great location, pricey but then so is all of Iceland

This is a fairly new hotel - the location is brilliant, everything you might want to see in downtown Reykavk is walking distance, everything is sparklingly clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I upgraded to a deluxe room and think it was a mistake - the room was nice and large and had a big, black marble bathroom but it was very gloomy. I was booked into a second floor room but it had one small window - the lovely receptionist moved me to a ground floor room with more window but it was still very dark, with the windows looking out onto a wall. There's nothing they can do about the dark skies in winter but they could do a lot to improve the lighting, particularly above the bed. To be fair, this is an Icelandic thing, lots of bars and restaurants have very low lighting as well, but when dawn didn't break until 10am, having a room that was badly lit was quite depressing.

Superb

Comfortable and Close-by hotel.

The beds were comfy, the breakfast was amazing, the staff was nice and accommodating, facilities were clean and modern. We struggled to find the mini-fridge, but we enjoyed our stay and would come back. Most of the city is a short walk to anything in the city.

The parking was not great, but I guess this is to be expected in cities. If you have a rental car, be prepared to look for/pay for parking separate from the hotel fees, but this is not a problem if you don't have a car and have no plans to leave Reykjavik during your stay.
