VERY GOOD

The hotel is extremely well situated, a short stroll to the bars, restaurants and shopping area. It was spotlessly clean and the staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is quirky, with guitars and music memorabilia dotted about. The car park was small, the instructions to find it were easy to follow and precise. A very enjoyable stay, we will definitely return.

Close to main shopping centre. Breakfast buffet was available, and we could get n room small dinners too. Pretty good.

Lovely boutique hotel in heart of old quarter of La Rochelle

Very good sized room with comfy queen sized bed. Tea & coffee making, cool murals in room & throughout hotel. Very good buffet breakfast, secure parking, right in heart of old quarter but quiet too. Good heated towel rail (we had a lot of rain during our visit so very welcome).

Lack of a lift (luckily we were just on first floor, rm 110), no milk provided in room (though we brought some from breakfast). Bathroom was fine but could have been a little cleaner in shower area (cracked tile, grout needs bleaching).

Excellent location and staff.

Location, location, location and car park. Friendly , helpful reception staff. Excellent breakfast.

Bedroom was a little small and had quite cold and clinical feel to it. However it was November and the weather was very wet so Im sure in the summer months it would be fine.

Quick stopover at a lovely eclectic style hotel

we have stayed several times now, the hotel is close to all amenities and has an eclectic style

the bathroom is dated the shower head was in the bath at a low level so a proper shower was difficult as you needed to hold the shower head in one hand.

Comfortable hotel in very good location

The location was excellent

One staff member was quite rude and not prepared to help with our query. Having said that another staff member came to our rescue so we got it sorted out The standard rooms are very small as are the bathrooms so upgrade to a king bed if you can

A friendly hotel with great character, comfort and a central yet accessible location

Friendly welcome, great location, fun and quirky decor, comfortable bed. A very individual hotel with character and we shall certainly stay again, and for longer next time. Parking on site was easy and fine for an SUV

The weather! But La Rochelle is fantastic even in rain as many streets are colonnaded. And the duvet was a bit hot and heavy. But otherwise, top!
