Very good

This hotel is well located out of the noisy city but close enough to walk or bus in. It could do with a renovation. The

Lovely old charm, large pool, beautiful bar area & spacious rooms. 10-15 minute walk to shops & restaurants. Quiet, leafy area of Florence with free, on site parking.

Needs a good renovation. Water dripped from above the vanity sink out of an AC vent. Repainting needed.

Ehhh... could use a bit of a sprucing up.

The location was central yet still walking distance to some nice restaurants. It was in a nice treed area that was in a safe residential area. The breakfast was amazing in variety and quality.

The beds were hard. The walls could use cleaning or a freshening of paint. There was a foul smell in the shower room, although clean.

Hotel Villa Carlotta is a gem in the middle of Florence

The location and the hotel was excellent. It is a small boutique hotel and felt quintessential Italian. The room was very clean and comfortable and the dining area and pool area were just lovely. It is in a nice shady tree-lined street with parking on-site, but also just a few minutes walk frrom the old section of Florence, so the best of both worlds!

This is the perfect little hidden gem ! Old school cool.

What a magnificent find this is an absolute gem ! Perfect service, sublime breakfast (not to be missed) and within a brisk walk to the old town. All in all an incredible find !!

Everything was perfect. Needed the weather to be 20 degrees warmer to use the pool !!

Good location. On bus route. But we walked into Florence in about 20 minutes.

Superb

A great place to explore Florence and Tuscany.

Free car parking onsite just out of ZTL. Close to centre of Florence and easy access to head out into Tuscany via car. Great breakfast and well equipped room. Beautiful part of town.

Multiple Bitten by insects

Location

My recent stay at Hotel Villa Carlotta was marred by an unpleasant discovery: numerous insect bites on my back and legs after one night stay. However, the hotel's response was underwhelming. From the beginning they doubted this was a real probem and suggested i might got bitten in another place. This trip was a one day trip back and forward from my home to Firenze, so I didn't sleep anywhere else. The proof was shown with photos. Despite my concerns, they conducted an inspection 10 days later, which reportedly found no evidence of bedbugs. This lack of immediate action and the fact that they doubted the evidence since second 1, left me feeling dissatisfied and concerned. I would caution others to think twice before booking a stay at this hotel until they demonstrate a more proactive and responsible approach to guest concerns, since in any case I felt they were worried about my health or commitment to guest well-being.
