Good

The location was good by the old town car line. The hotel had a breakfast, which you could select form a menu. It was very basic.

The second morning they failed to offer breakfast even though it had been paid in advance, probably some malfunction in the kitchen. The hotel failed to mention they were undergoing renovations. The personnel at the reception was not very friendly.

Disappointing

Room was new, comfortable and clean. Nice size, was a corner room.

Major construction in progress. Should have been closed. I knew renovation was ongoing, did not expect it to close resturant, bar and 1of the elevators. The only ice machine that worked was in the lobby. The elevator that worked was padded with moving blankets. Workman were always present during day hours. Had I been told this was such a mess, would not have stayed there. The TV was also not receiving programing. 3 out of 10 for me. Will not use this hotel again.

Superb

Very comfortable hotel on beautiful St Charles street.

The location, the cleanliness, the staff, the comfort.

Found out when we checked in that they were under construction so the elevator was often occupied by workers so had to use the stairs. Luckily I was on the 3rd floor so the stairs werent a problem but I knew someone on the 9th floor. Breakfast wasnt great either and I found it pricey.

The room was big and confortable. It was nice to be able to have some coffee in the room (with some tea bags, it would be even better)

The headboard of the bed was damaged. The soundproofing is not good. The lift was a real issue.
