The location

The staff were inexperience and one was very rude. There was a confusion about the taxs and the staff member was rude and arrogant. The senior lady help explain and calm the situation down

Bathroom needs refurbishment We felt like beggers continuing to ask for food to be refilled waited 25 minutes. No organisation This hotel does not cater for tourists we will never return very disappointed one day no room cleaned

No mosquitos. The old building is very historic and lovely.

The room was very old and dated. Too noisy during night time. The staff were not responsive and have minimum English skills.

2nd time weve stayed here - love the character, staff and ambience.

Fabulous old colonial hotel steeped in tradition. Breakfasts were excellent. Easy walk to central Kandy.

Bit worn out in places. Monkeys jumping on the roof early morning!

The food fell below expectations, indicating a need for a skilled chef at this hotel. Additionally, despite reserving a balcony room, we were assigned a different one.

Amazing location, easy to walk the 10 mins in to Kandy around the lake, great path, shaded and lots of wildlife to look at along the way.

No a la carte options most meals but the buffet was good / just a little pricey if you werent that hungry

Great colonial hotel steeped in history

Wonderful colonial hotel that is steeped in history. We stayed during Poya, a religious featival,the hotel is used by Srilankan families as well as foreign travelers. Loved the feel of the history of the building.

The hotel needs some investment to bring it back to its full glory as it's a little tired around the edges.

Loved the friendly atmosphere.. specially the the reception the guy in the dark blue blazer.. couldn't get his name.. he was so accommodative and and helpful..

The restaurant could improve.. if felt very boring like something was missing..
