Superb

A Magical New Year stay.

We found that the A La Corte Restaurant was open on our second evening, it was fantastic, the starters were displayed in a great cool cabinet and tasted fantastic as did the main and the desert. Jose and his assistant Anabel are lovely people and looked after us superbly. On our next visit we will book this Restaurant every evening it's open. Thank you.

The towels are a little small.

The food, the room, the view. Location great. Staff very friendly. Very comfortable room, very good shower. Excellent.

Only thing was room by the lifts so people tended to congregate and chat outside the door.

A basic hotel with no customer service standards

The location is extremely central for town and with a nice view on the beach front, it was also clean and spacious.

The attitude and disorganisation of some of the front desk staff. They accidentally double charged our card for our stay (taking over 3k from us) but despite conceding their mistake, they were completely indifferent about rectifying it quickly, leaving us out of pocket for the whole holiday. So we spent the whole holiday stressed and chasing the refund. But by the time they finally refunded us (2 weeks later!) we were home! The room (528) was really basic and so noisy with footsteps (presumably from above) it felt as though there was someone running around in there with us! The general demographic of the hotel is all pensioners too, which is fine if youre pensioners, but were not the entertainment also reflects this demographic, and wasnt for us. The food was ok, fairly samey but decent and the staff in the restaurant worked really hard. It was also super windy down by the pool which was probably down to the time of year but a few windbreakers wouldnt go a miss! The sun beds are also far too close together. All in all a very mediocre place, without the standards youd expect for the price tag. But the location is great. So if youre going to stay, pay with cash!!

Beds not most comfortable. Towels were not bath size towels and exceptionally thin and hard.

My experience at RIU Monica.

Location, spacious bedroom,most of the staff friendly,good choice of food/options,many areas to relax,

Dinning wasn't the best experience I've had,evenings could be noisy,staff extremely busy and rushing around,clearing your table though not finished,most visits,smashing/dropping cutlery,plates etc. When checking in not the friendliest,and felt being solo/female I was offered not the best of many rooms available,

We enjoyed our stay because of the good food and the helpful pleasant staff.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were always very helpful and pleasant.

The towels were not good and were the same last year. We asked for a specific room which we didnt get. In fact the alternative room we were given did not get any sun until later in the afternoon.
