Amazing place in the heart of Colmar

Amazing location, in the heart of Colmar. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, the breakfast was delicious and diverse, I also enjoyed the staff from the breakfast area, they were very welcoming. The room was in the attic, we enjoyed our view to the Christmas market from our room and the view to the canal from our bathroom. We had an amazing stay!

Nice but not worth 4 stars

Location of the hotel is great, especially if you come for the Christmas market. The hotel is beautifully decorated for Christmas. And the member of staff are nice.

The room we were in was very old and small - quite different from the pictures shown on their website. The shower didnt have any door - it was broken the night before we arrived. But the staff did not give us a heads-up nor apologized for the inconvenience. A member of staff entered into our room without knocking as we were getting ready in the morning

Wonderful hotel in a great location made my Colmar trip.

Hotel was beautiful, in a great location, staff were always very friendly, and the fresh breakfast was wonderful and reasonably priced.

My room was on the fourth floor. Elevator only goes to the 3rd floor, and then I needed to carry my bags up another set of stairs, down a long hall way and then up a spiral staircase to the attic. It was very tight and quite dangerous carrying bags up that flight of stairs. Additionally, I had dinner at the restaurant one night. The food was quite delicious. However the portions were very small and the everything was overpriced for quality and quantity.

Style over substance Im afraid. The management need to get the basics right and put themselves in their customers shoe

The location is great and the hotel looks fantastic from the outside.

Staff could have been friendlier. Some were nice. Some were less than friendly. We were told that we couldnt take a look at the restaurant because it was busy. Thats pretty ridiculous. We obviously didnt spend money in the restaurant as a result. There was nowhere to sit and have a coffee other than the bar which didnt open on the morning. No lounge etc. Why not open the bar area or the outside seating?? Seems crazy to me. The bed was very hard. The flashing Xmas lights on the outside of the hotel (that shone into the room) didnt stop until past 23:30 so there was no chance of an early night. And finally (and most importantly) there was no proper curtain or blind in the bathroom. This made it very difficult to relax because we knew that people outside (taking photos!) could see us if in the bathroom. This is not good.

Superb

Cool location just in the center of the old town, very good personnel, rich breakfast. It was warm in the room, comfortable bed, nice view from the window as well.

I really liked the hotel, though in Dec it seems to be overpriced - as everything in Colmar.

Severely overpriced. Rooms arent the ones from the pictures on Booking.com

Just the location.

Extremely overpriced. The room they gave us had nothing to do with the pictures on Booking.com. 2 extremely different types of rooms fall under the Comfort Double Room category, one that appears to be worth the hefty price tag, the other is a 2 star hostel room from 1986. Depends how lucky you are to get the right room. I was given a room that was worth 30% tops of what I paid. Paid 300 EUR per night and the room I was given was one of the worst Ive stayed in years of traveling.
