Looking forward to our next vist to Hotel Puerta del Mar.

The hotel was very well placed to walk to places of interest in the historic part of town and to some very nice bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very polite and welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. The pool area and roof terrace was very nicely laid out and good to visit with nice views from the roof. Breakfast is excellent with a very large choise of foods that should satisfy all tastes. You'll not leave the dining room hungry !!

We did report it but the tiolet had a bit of a flushing problem and was at least a double flush situation !! Given the loo situation its surprising to say to beware of the very powerful water pressure !! Enjoyed by some and of course tap adjustable but the hotel might want to think about wasting water if customers are taking full advantage of a shower massage ;-). There was a TV in the room with 5 local terrestial stations only. Given that the area caters for the tourist market it would be nice to have a little more linguistic variety which is fairly normal in this modern era.

Really relaxing and super hotel

We were in room 217, the best room in the hotel with access to a great balcony. The breakfast was just lovely, cereals, breads, meats and cheeses and hard boiled eggs.

Great place to stay!

Very comfortable and clean room. Great and helpful staff. Breakfast was very adequate, and the staff kept the platters filled. Nice pool area on the roof. The other common area was attractive as well. The location was excellent.

Pool could be a bit bigger, but didn't matter this time of year. Sure, I would love a sea view, but all the places that offer one are out of my price range.

An absolutely fantastic hotel, wouldnt want to stay anywhere else!

Superior room is great, so comfortable, huge bed, fantastic shower, cleaned to a very high standard everyday with fresh towels everyday too. Hotel is absolutely spotless throughout. Nice continental breakfast, plenty of choice. Fabulous rooftop terrace with small pool, (too cold this time of year though!), lots of sun loungers, tables and chairs, stunning views. Lovely staff, nothing is too much trouble.
