Exceptional

Lovely hotel

The photos don't do this place justice. The rooms were huge and clean and the hotel is in a great location. It's actually part of Taiping's heritage trail, it's a beautiful building. We really appreciated the water purifier that we could use and the large communal space that we played games in. It was the only hotel we stayed in with shower cubicles as well.

No curtains so it was quite bright in the room at night and in the morning.

A rustic place with great location. A surprise indeed.

Cozy room. Nice size. Cold aircond. Clean room. Great location in the middle of town. Abundant parking. A simple place. Old building refurbished well for its purpose. Nice aunty manning the reception during the day. I love the vintage furnitures in the room.

Not much facilities provided. Hot and Cold water available in the common area. Bathroom a bit on the small side. Only 2 channels available on our tv.

Super value for money and comfortable beds

Value for money and very spacious for the price. They clean the room thoroughly prior to our check-in that you can smell fresh linens. The fan was very strong that we don't need any air-conditioning and the beds and pillows are super comfortable that I had a great sleep.

There was a leak on top of where the bathroom door is for my room: Room 12. One of the days I was awaken due to water falling onto the floor from the ceiling. I don't know where the water comes from, whether it's a leak from the upstairs toilet, or rain or what it is. Definitely need to have this fixed.

Good location but only one power point available inside the room.

Good location at the centre of the city and walking distance to some heritage places and food stalls.

Only one power point available inside the room to charge our phones. Maybe this is an old building so understandable. Bring extra powerbanks if u wish to book a room here.

The hotel look old in the photo but actually it is ok comfortable ,everything worth the money paid

Strategic location comfy bed. Antics look but not worn out

Pls provide coway or cookoo instead of old hot cold water dispenser. The tv outside is too loud, the sound disturbing because the room is not soundproof

The location is in the midst of Taiping town and near to many good location such as Taman Tasik Taiping ,museum and etc. The hotel looked haunted and scary but it is not at all.

I wish there is vanity desk or maybe stool for us to put our lugage

Classic hotel with everything you need

Good location- 7Eleven and Watson Pharmacy next door. Food just around the corner. Zoo Taiping and Lake Garden a short drive away. Nice classic ambience. Comfy bed. Aircond Daikin powerful. Shower like waterfall. Towel, bar soap, toothbrush, toilet roll provided. TV basic station. Hand bidet with toilet. Wifi. Parking in hotel compound. Hot/ cool water and microwave in common area. Friendly staff.

The toilet bowl position is a bit weird, when you use it you will be cramped between the bowl and shower door. i think if the bowl faces the door, it will be better.
