Exceptional

Perfect location in an extremely quiet narrow street with easy access to taxis. Central and easy to walk to the main parts of the city and restaurants nearby. Reception staff were always friendly and really helpful and informative. Good wifi service in the room. Breakfast had a good offer of products plus we had two early tours and the hotel offered us packed breakfast which was really good. Booked taxi to the airport by reception was on time and reasonable price and helped us with luggages.

Perfect localisation, nice stuff, clean room with tarrase and equipment to make Coffee. Nice breakfast.

Disappointing

Not a hotel for light sleepers, but central location

Central location, close to all main attractions. Lovely staff, very kind and helpful. Clean rooms and facilities

There was constantly noise from either other rooms or people talking in the corridors. We could hear the loud TV from the room next to us, then hearing them snoring, talking, going to the bathroom. Basically you can hear everything. People talking loudly at 1-2 am or very early in the morning, felt like they were into our room. We did not have an uninterrupted sleep for the whole duration of our stay and woke up at least 4 times each night. I wish that the rooms had some kind of soundproofing. The mattress was old and made our backs hurt, every time we laid down we could not rest and woke up sore. After the second night we were looking forward to getting back home. Also, the bathroom had black spots that looked like mould in the bathtub and generally minor damages that were partially or not at all fixed. On the first day they forgot to give us towels (not a big problem, things like this happen). We went and asked for them and were given only 3 big towels and a small one. When the cleaners came to change them, they gave us 2 big, 1 for hands and 1 very small. In both occasions it felt like the towels were not enough. We are 2 people that need at least one hand towel, 2 for body and at least 2 more for face/ hair or feet. If it wasnt for the other issues that would have been only a minor remark. But after all above and the sleepless nights, it felt like just one more inconvenience. Generally I would not recommend this hotel to people that sleep lightly and want to relax/ have a good rest during their vacation .

Very good

Central, authentic, friendly, handy for the sights. Would happily stay again.

The room was warm and clean (December trip) very firm beds with 2 pillows each. The bathroom was a bit dated but functional and spotlessly clean. The room was attended to every day, cleaned thoroughly and provided with fresh towels. Reception staff were always friendly, helpful and informative. Bags were kept safely after our check out time. There wasnt a safe in our room (superior dbl) but there was coffee making facilities. The added bonus of a sun trap balcony was glorious on the warm afternoons. The location of this hotel is excellent, central and easy to walk to the main parts of the city.

Breakfast was ok but overpriced compared to other local eateries, also you are charged less if you pay up front for the rest of your stay? However there was a good choice of food and drinks, nice and quiet too. There wasnt a safe in our room.

Very good

Had a pleasant stay in the heart of the historical center, extremely close all the attractions.

Location was close to all the tourist attractions.

Also the location- was deep buried in the historical center and hard to get taxi in and out, also the cobble stone road made it hard to walk with suitcases.
