Great hotel, great location!

Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful a great start to the day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely rooftop pool.

Lifts are quite small, so we were unable to hire a mobility scooter for my husband as there is no ground floor storage available. Fortunately he managed quite well with his walking stick.

Superb

Family room at Las Rampas in Fuengirola

Great size room in a really good location. The bathroom was a good size, and the shower was amazing, and blackout curtains meant you're not woken too early by sunshine. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside, but once inside, it has a very rustic Spanish feel, full of plants, quite pretty. The staff were excellent, always available and very friendly, no matter what time you were getting back to the hotel, and even gave our daughter sweets. The pool area was very nice, very clean and well maintained and there was a good selection for breakfast at the restaurant.

The pool could be heated when getting to the end of the season to allow kids to still enjoy it. The bedside lamps could be a bit dimmer as well, they were the same brightness as the main lights which were very bright. At certain times of the day outside the hotel entrance, there was an unpleasant smell, like sewage, This didn't affect us in the room, but when leaving/coming back to the hotel, it wasn't always a pleasant experience. This is most likely nothing to do with the hotel, which is a shame as it means there's no way for the hotel to rectify it.
