Superb

You usually expect the hotels with such a great location and moderately-priced to be below average, and the rating high just because of the location, despite all the negative stuff, but with this hotel that's not the case - it's good as it is. The spacious parking. Clean rooms. Nice staff. Finally, the lake view is really there and it's stunning.

Good location and our room on the top floor had beautiful view on the lake.

It was too expensive compared to the value we got for the money. In the restaurant ,probably the headchef(big old guy) sadly dont remember his name was rude and had a very bad behavior. We arrived a restaurant in a good mode and he was the one led us to the table and imadietly pulled down our mood by handling us like idiots. The waiters were however super sweet and kind and that saved our evening, big thanks to them. The food was super overpriced and not even mediocre.

Good

The view is awesome. Hotel staff is friendly, but food and drinks are super expensive.

The transportation in Tremezzio is horrible. Unless you rent a car, it's impossible to move around. Calling a cab is also difficult. Walking on on the sidewalk is very dangerous, especially with kids.

Exceptional

Hotel Lario met our needs perfectly. Wonderfully placed with easy access to Villa Balbianello and Villa Carlotta.

Friendly welcome and service was excellent. Lots of helpful advice on how to get around and where to go. Very good steak and best frittes! Room immaculate and clean Thank you so much for making it all fun!
