Charming location but needs updating!

The location is fantastic, centrally located, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The rooftop restaurant had a beautiful view and fair restaurant. The restaurant did include a wonderful vegetable buffet included with dinner. My lunch daily was the best bruschetta I ever have eaten.

While clean, this property is seriously dated. It is charming in a way but needs some TLC, painting, new carpets and reupholstered furniture.

Would never stay here again.

This property is really run down. The room were old fashioned dowdy and dark not what we expected. This is more of a 2 star not 4 as advertised. The only nice things are the streets and shops.

Extremely relaxing and an ideal place to recharge the batteries

The hotel have beautiful gardens, which give the place a serene and calm feel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is good value for money and although it is dated decor wise, and could do with a bit of a spruce up, it has a lovely ambience. It has a sister hotel where you can get spa treatments and use of the beds on the beach, however the thermal mineral pool, which is almost at bath temperature, is blissful. Make sure you take a bathing cap as this is mandatory. It is ideally placed for exploring some of the attractions on the Island.. specifically the Castille D'Aragonese and the harbour. If you are on a b&b basis you can book a dinner for a reasonable rate at breakfast but you are never pressured into having dinner if don't feel like it.

The only complaint was that the pillows on the bed were extremely hard. We didn't get them changed because we were only there a short time but the rooms could do with having a choice.

For a 4 star hotel the stay there was rather disappointing.

I liked the location a lot, especially the garden, the rooms were clean. The concierge was very friendly and helpful.

Poor Internet connection, breakfast was very disappointing because everyday was the same thing and in rather small amounts. Before 7 oclock it would get very loud because of the staff The beach was very small and therefore very crowded with some unfriendly staff. For one room were only one chair and one bed designated even though it was a triple room.

A beautiful and peaceful oasis

Wonderful hotel with absolutely amazing highly professional staff that care about guests a great deal. We enjoyed our honeymoon there tremendously. The hotel is like an oasis in an otherwise busy city. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends.

Great option of having packed lunches for days out.

The room was dated. Wardrobes from the 1950's. Could have benefitted from an update in simple furniture. Blood marks on the walls - I can only hope from mosquitoes but would have been nice that the walls were cleaned. The beach location was much further than described and terribly overcrowded. Had to pay to go to a another beach 40 Euros!!

Needs renovation

It was in a good location, the staff were nice and the rooms were clean. Air con worked really well.

I wouldnt stay here again, the hotel is seriously outdated and depressing. My room had shutters in the front of the windows meaning my room got no daylight. It was like staying on a prison cell designed by a granny. The Wi-Fi didnt work.
