Cosy room - very nice staff - location - decoration

Our room (nr 5) was located at the front and there was a lot of noice coming from the street (mainly in the mornig with the cars).

Superb

Beautiful chic townhouse in central Antwerp

Absolutely stunning townhouse, lovely original period details, spacious bedroom with high ceiling, gorgeous bathroom and products, fantastic communal space for drinks by the fire, excellent breakfast, and note perfect professional staff. Location is ideal for walking right into old town Antwerp.

Our room was at the front of the hotel, facing the street. Neither of us slept properly either night due to horrendous, never-ending street noise from people coming home from bars, continued until five in the morning both nights. Do not book a street facing room!

Excellent stay, would book again at Hotel Julien!

We loved the style of the hotel, beautifully renovated old house. We regretted not being able to enjoy a drink at the bar in the evening because of our limited time. Next time we will defintely make time for enjoying the bar and salon. Rooms were clean, and offered all the nescessities needed. Bonus for the brand of cosmetics (Aesop) used!

The noice of nightlife on the street. Our room was located on the streetside.

Disappointing

Disappointing experience for the price point.

Great location if you're visiting the city centre. Breakfast is good.

The rooms aren't cheap so you set some expectations. We ended up sleeping in the old part of the hotel (room 5), which can only be reached by several flights of old stairs. The room was mediocre at best and extremely noisy until 6am in the morning (located on frontside of the building). The bathroom was cold, had no heating and very small. Not the overall experience and quality you expect from a hotel at this price point.

Elegant, quiet, calming Great location for walking everywhere Lovely to have a spa to use and like the hotel it was ultra elegant, if limited to sauna, steam and shower.

Shame no restaurant but great list of recommendations Our room was quite small but felt light, warm and comfortable

Love the calm energy and simplicity. next time the different wing

The staff were friendly, the place was quiet, relaxing and beautiful interior in the main lobby as well. Love the fact that the hotel bathroom amenities are just very generous aesop goods as opposed to what we are normally used to. I assume this also saves energy and single plastic or packaging use. So props for this! Very trusting and giving. I did find the room a bit too small and two high staircases I found a bit less relaxing or hotel/ servicey, so to speak. Will trye the next wing next time around.

The high staircase location. I mean it was quiet indeed but next time I wont want to bring an entire suitcase for two high stairs.
