Lovely location, hotel looked lovely and Xmas decorations very nice but issues detracted from stay.

Location excellent. Bar staff friendly and evening desk clerk very helpful

Bathroom disappointing. Toilet seat was broken. Didn't complain as another issue, dirty bed linen, was greater priority. We were offered a different room but, having unpacked, chose to stay and have bed fully remade. Milk supplied with tea-making facility was out of date. Caused tummy upsets which upset our last day however milk for final day was in date. Was disappointed with restaurant menu and chose to eat off-site.

Superb stay in a very central location.

It was very convenient to have the hotel garage under the hotel, directly accessible from the lobby. The room was exceptionally large, overlooking a nice and quiet courtyard. We had breakfast with an excellent orange squash.

Arriving by car is not very convenient because you cannot stop in front of the hotel, where there is a bus lane. The best thing would be to park directly in the garage and enter the hotel from there, but we had not found any directions about parking when booking the hotel.
