Very good

Comfortable hotel on edge of medieval quarter with view of port.

Position on the waterfront with interesting view. Clean rooms with good bed and shower. Helpful staff.

Our first room with no view. But we changed to a room at the front.

The front desk staff was rude.

Location and breakfast was great.

The front desk staff, "Ford" was rude and condescending. It was quite apparent that he had a problem with Caucasian women foreigners. My husband and I will never stay at this hotel again because of the staff. I have never been so disrespected.

very large room and very friendly staff. Nice bathroom.

The hotel is on one floor of the large building and the orientation marks could be better. The neighborhood of the hotel is not very nice.

I feel as though this hotel is trying to be nicer then it actually is. Although there is potential, it is not there yet. The breakfast was nice. Good assortment of pastries and cookies and then hot items for order. Our room was also spacious, bathroom very large. Walking distance to everything you need to see in town.

When you arrive to the hotel by car there is no where to stop. Just cars parked all down the street and you are forced to double park and block the road. We were told someone would be there to help us unload and tell us where to park. No one was. The reception is on the second floor so you have to go up there. Nothing is in the building when you first walk in which is offputting, you have to go upstairs. Also we werent given good directions to the parking. Just told to go to the light and do a U turn to the other side turns out you actually have to go further and turn onto a lower street. Once in the garage we were given no direction on where to go either. Overall my husband was very frustrated after trying to park for over 30 min. I also really didnt like how the big metal doors to the hotel are locked in the evening. You have to rely on someone buzzing you in every time, which can take a while. Like others mentioned this is not the best part of town, especially at night so I feel as though this could not be safe. I am glad I was not here alone and wouldnt recommend the place at all for a solo female traveler. Also our room was very noisy at night. It sounded like they were moving furniture or redoing a room? As if chairs were being moved across the floor constantly until 2am. You also hear others talking in rooms. Furniture in room was dated and the photos defiantly make the whole place look way nicer then it is.

The worst hotel/location I have ever visited.

I absolutely disliked everything about this hotel. Terrible location, attempted robbery at 10 PM right in front of the hotel entrance. Full of gangs and criminals. No parking as they claim; they use one nearby (5-6 minutes walk). Empty minibar. Breakfast feels more like a 1-star motel than a 4-star hotel. Extremely dirty room, especially the floor. One of my worst hotel experiences in 32 years. Non-functional TV. Slow internet. Definitely to be avoided.

Superb

Chiara was most welcoming and made our stay pleasant. Spacious room with a view of the harbour. Walking distance to cultural sites. Hot breakfast made to order, with a broad spread of cereal , pastries and cheeses. Good wifi.

Not the most salubrious location. Uneven cobblestone and pavements make navigating luggage from the train or bus station to the hotel a challenge.
