City center of Catania. Overnight stay but not more than that

The on-duty person reached out to me via Whatsapp - to let me know that the check-in is only until 19-00. The location is not bad. I mean the city looks really miserable and frightening at times. Except for the city center - at this time of the year there are still some tourists, so we felt relatively safe... There were some cafeteria and outlet shops, gelateria and a park in the vicinitiy of the "hotel".

For some reason we thought it was a normal hotel and not an AirBnB room.. There is no real solid breakfast - you just got a ticket to the cafe downstairs - where we were offered an absolute unhealthy unsatisfactory package like sweet croissant and coffee. This cannot be called breakfast, i'm sorry to say the way up to 3d floor was challenging - the lift is really small, very awkward to put even a small luggage inside the old style, triple doored minimalistic lift cabin.

The hotel advertises parking spaces but you have to pay additionally to a private car park which was one of the reasons we picked it so would have chose different for free parking.
