Superb

We loved the location and the really friendly and welcoming and helpful staff.

So close to the centre of town and the stations. Very comfortable and clean and the breakfast is great value and quality. The staff were extremely helpful and kind and helped us out in a difficult situation when our train was cancelled at short notice on 30th December.

Great stay for Christmas Markets.

Fantastic location. Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Good value for money. Would recommend for ease of access to eurostar, metro and town. Great bar / resteraunt next door.

Next time will ask for room at the front rather than the back so that we geta view. Bath towel very small but clean everyday. They are missing a trick. If they had a bar up on the top floor the roof balcony has great views over the town lit up for Christmas.

Great location,friendly and polite staff at all times who also spoke English.Highly recommed to stay

Reassuring that its 24 hr reception as our train was delayed&we arrived later than expected. Staff were friendly,gave good recommendations for places to eat and our rooms were cleaned even though we forgot to ask! Thanks for the extra care shown,that was much appreciated after long days out.

There was a mix up about check out times,I was told could be later and as we had later train thought all was good.However,not the case had to pay extra for late check out.

Very good

Very enjoyable stay. Lots of wonderful food. People in Lille generally very friendly and helpful.

Staff friendly & helpful. Room a little on the small side, but adequate as we were out most of the time. Very quiet, given the location. Breakfast was GREAT, with lots of choice. Location was excellent - within easy reach of the old town and close to railway stations (Lille Flanders and Lille Euro). Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby too.

The weather could have been better! (Rain) Trainers or soft soled flat shoes are best for exploring the cobbled streets in the old town.

Very good

Nice little hotel near the train station

Great location. Next to the city center, next door to the train station, above a nice (and large) beer pub/restaurant. Clean a refurbished room. Very good breakfast.

Unfortunately, got a room with no view. The rooms with view towards the train station and square where all taken. The room was so small that you cant get to the window without jumping over the bed.

Good

Lille pretty town, perfect for one or two nights, if you want a budget hotel the Chagnot is fine

Very friendly and helpful staff. They always had a smile. The room was basic but cheap so cannot complain. Was very clean. Short walk to the train station and a 10 min walk to Eurotrain station. Had a kettle and coffee/tea sachets. No milk but I'm sure the staff would have found some if we had asked. We had a view overlooking the train station. Busy to people watching from the window. Central to the Old Town, and the modern shopping centre. The mattress was very comfortable.

This is not the fault of the hotel but may help you decide whether staying here would suit you. I am a light sleeper and a night owl. So I don't mind the street noise which was not even that bad. But from 5/6 am street cleaners. refuge lorries and delivery lorries start, are very loud, and do not stop. This woke me up both mornings. My daughter though slept through it so it would depend on your sleeping habits.
