Comfortable and traditional hotel in the centre of Aix

We had a kitchenette so did our own breakfasts. The location was perfect - a 2 minute walk to rue DItalie and 5 minutes to Cours Mirabeau. We loved the Christmas trees in the hotel and the beautiful nativity sets.

A bath screen might be useful to stop the shower water going on the floor

Great location and decoration, bad sound isolation.

The decoration of the hotel in general, the room and bathroom was really nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom big. Everything was very clean. The location was perfect, walking distance to the center. The Staff was friendly.

The sound isolation was not good at all. The doors are old so they do not block the noise from outside. The bedrooms are very close to each other, so you can hear whenever the neighbour goes in or out, or if they are speaking loudly. We kept waking up during the night due to the noise.

Most likely I will be come back !

I had a wonderful stay at the Cardinal hotel. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with croissants, fruit and juice. The staff was attentive and responsive.
