A night to remember at Calisto hotel in Amsterdam

A fantastic hotel in Amsterdam that fully met my expectations! The check-in process was very easy with an online code. Moreover, the location is ideal, within walking distance of the central station and the most enjoyable neighborhoods in Amsterdam. I personally recommend everyone to book Hotel Calisto for a wonderful experience in Amsterdam. Bonus: We received a coupon code from the hotel for a delicious coffee and croissant in the morning at a caf across the street.

Not good for business travel

The location is great - lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Nice to have conditioner in the shower. Room and bathroom was generally clean.

The curtains for the window were too small, so the bright street lights poured into the room at night, making it hard to sleep. No double-glazed/sound proof windows mean you hear the street all night (granted, earplugs were offered to compensate for this). No mention of wifi or a wifi password in the room. The hotel also uses a webpage on your phone to unlock the door at the street level and in your room. This means if your phone runs out of battery there is no way to get in! There is no reception. No full length mirror in the room, no tea or coffee-making facilities. Also, no way to leave a sign that you don't want your room cleaned each day, so someone always comes into the room.

One night not enough!

Lovely neighbourhood, close to central train station so easy in/out from airport, staff were super friendly & couldnt be more helpful, lovely big bed and fab rainfall shower & washroom. Superb restaurant downstairs and SMEG kettle with coffee/tea in room.

Got milk for evening tea from downstairs & staff very thoughtful leaving us extra blanket on chilly evening and ear plugs in case of street noise (which werent needed). Worst thing was we couldnt stay for two nights because it was only a stopover :-)

Cozy boutique hotel in a vibrant neighboorhood. Especially liked the beautiful vintage furniture.

Beautiful building. Check-in was nice and easy. Can definitely recommend having dinner or drinks at the restaurant on the ground floor.

We had a fantastic stay in a stylish and comfortable room in a great neighborhood.

The room was clean and stylish, with a very comfortable bed and some lovely small gifts included. You can't beat the location, the hotel is right in the heart of a bustling, cool neighborhood that quiets down at night. Amazing value for money. Bonus: their restaurant downstairs serves delicious refined Italian food in a hip setting. Top notch!
