Lovely host, great breakfast but needs modernising , clean though

The owner was a great host,very polite and helpful. He arranged free parking and delivered a superb cooked English breakfast.

The hotel wasn't what we expected it didn't look like the pictures on the website. No parking outside the hotel as advertised (but he did arrange free parking) the hotel decor is dated but clean, the price was expensive for what we stayed in.

Due to lack of heating in bedrooms and dining area in the middle of winter and with a storm raging our stay was not comf

Good position for walking into town and car park over the road although it is a bit pricey

The fact that the heating was very limited and the windows are very draughty for a stay in winter. Heating needs to be looked at and maybe thicker curtains to keep the draught from the windows from making the room so cold.

Very pleasant and would definitely stay again.

Clean and tidy with friendly staff. Lovely breakfast to set the day off

No central heating but there was an oil filled plug in radiator that done the trick

Zan the manager was excellent. He was exceptional, polite, hard working. The room on top floor was clean and comfortable. It had an extra electric radiator in room which we switched off because it was too warm even the the weather outside was bad. Zan cooked breakfast which was plentiful and fresh cooked. Well done. Location was really good as our evening event was at Winter Gardens so easy within walking distance.

Enjoyable stay. Value for money.

The host was very accommodating. Very attentive but not over bearing. Flexible check in/check out times A lovely breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Allowed to park in one parking spot available Good value for money

Small en-suite for 2 people. (But hot shower)

Staff very polite and friendly, gave us a quiet room as requested, with the option to change to a bigger room if our appointed wasn't to scratch. Breakfast was beautiful, no frills, just a lovely, well cooked, tasty breakfast
