Great Stay but not in stormy weather !

Arrived in a storm, boat transfers were not available but Johnny the owner came and picked us up from Serrara Fontana in his Jimny Jeep and took us down the mountain from 400m. An Off Road experience but fun !!! Food is simple, home cooked, but really tasty. Location was superb on the beach. Waves crashing under our balcony all night. If the weather had been sunny and warm it would have been fantastic. Right next to the Roman Spa and in walking distance of Sant'Angelo and Maronti Beach Weather was still bad when we left 2 days later, so Johnny took us on another Off Road Trip.....

Rooms were pretty basic but clean. But it is classified as a 1 star

The place,staff are amazing. You can sleep and hear the waves. We came in midnight and the owner waited for us,helped us with the luggage by boat. When I mentioned that I would like to taste fish or soup,next day was prepared.Everything was excellent. I am fully recommending hotel Angelino.Next year I will definitelly come back.

The location is amazing, right on the beach. Easy to catch the boat taxis from right outside to get to SaintAngelo etc. The food was amazing too, and super cheap.

Its quite basic but still good value for money. It was really hot when we were there and no air con but there is a fan. Because of the location, getting there and away takes a bit of time but thats fine if you just want to relax for a few days!

Right in the sea

I had a wonderful time at Hotel Angelino. A down-to-earth family run hotel right on the sea. My room was big, clean and comfortable with the most incredible view. I fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night. The staff were friendly and helpful, I felt very safe and welcomed. I loved that the hotel exuded old school character rather than modern sterility. Just some information for anyone thinking of walking to the hotel instead of taking the water taxi from Maronti. Currently, the pathway only extends to the Hotel Gondola, the last stretch is sand only. That's not a problem if you have a backpack, but with my sadly heavy luggage, I got stranded there. I made a quick call to the hotel and they very kindly came to my rescue and helped me get my bags in. I would recommend to get a water taxi for 3 Euros at Maronti beach (from the bus stop, once you come down the stairs, straight in front of you on the beach). Mention you need to go to the stop 'Cavascura', which is the next stop along the beach and it will take you straight to the hotel Angelino. It's fine to walk back and forth without luggage along the beach and pathway to Maronti though and I often caught the bus up to the port from there or the water taxi across to Sant Angelo for day trips. I look forward to visiting again one day in the future.

Ocean Love

An unbelievable place. A had a room with ocean view and it is a dream. The room was very simple, but it had a balcony over the ocean and I spent most of the time there. Breakfast is ok with a few fruits and tomatoes. The area is really nice, very close is a beautiful therme.

Magical location.

Magical location right on the sea with water coming right up to the steps of the hotel. All rooms face the sea. Great food on balcony over the sea. Highly recommend for a few days.

Not many dining options at night outside the hotel for a change of scene. A fridge with some beers in the room would have made things even nicer to enjoy some time on your balcony!

The food at the restaurant was amazing and some of the best meals we had. Staff was supernice and helpful. The beach in the area was very packed with people but the spot nearby the hotel was less so which we really appreciated. To find less touristy and less expensive restaurants we needed to do some research and they were all within a distance of a 30 euro taxi drive. Worth it tho!! The hotel is right by the ocean and with a beautiful view. Grateful for this stay!
