There are a lot and much better options in Cartagena.

Choice of breakfast was good.

Hotel does not meet 5 star expectations, not even close, everything seems quite outdated, and would need some refurbishment. During our stay hotel was full with teenage kids who were making a lot of noise all around the hotel, and staff seemed not to care about it either, when we went to enjoy hotel pool, teenagers took it over to play volleyball in it, and again of course staff did not mind it. for 115/night in Colombia we were expecting much higher standarts, and quite surely other hotels we stayed in Cartagena during our holiday in old town and in Getsemani were much more comfortable, adequate, modern, and cheaper. Reception asked us to do the payment on check in, which was a bit unusual, but ok, not a big thing, but then when we came for check out and we had to quickly leave for airport, they made us wait at the reception desk, and sent a staff member to check our room for damages or minibar use, and we had just stand and wait there, this was very inconvenient experience, and so far I have never seen such procedure, especially in a 5star hotel who had our Credit card details for just in case we used something from minibar.

Not recommended. Tons of sewer flies and cheap/ugly.

If you want to be in the mix of it, that is, a loud center area, go ahead and book this place. Just know that I don't recommend this place at all. After sitting there for ten minutes both my partner and I wanted to leave, so we abandoned our reservation and paid for a whole different hotel room ten minutes away. So, to summarize, we left this place without a refund and got a different place due to its lack of quality.

The photos of this hotel do not match whatsoever the photos on the booking website. We walked into our room, which was cheap and ugly, and we were shocked to find thirty sewer flies gliding around the room and landing on our bed and the pillows. We killed as many as we could but it was never enough. After a half hour we abandoned the hotel despite paying and rebooked a new hotel ten minutes from the center. Double cost. Thus, this place is not recommended whatsoever.

Very good

Comfortable stay

The location is great and the hotel.has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. I particularly highlight the great attitude of the staff, who really made us feel so welcomed.

I cannot say the value for money balance is ideal, as the hotel is a tad old, the social areas are small and the level 15 area is still under renovations.

It was a good stay, but not good value for money

I liked the food a lot, the breakfast was really really good. The staff in general was nice and friendly. However, one of the cleaning people stole a phone from someone of the group with which we were.

I think the facilities are not at the level of a 5 stars hotel. The price is also too expensive for what you get. In general not good value for money. I would rate it more as a 4 stars hotel and for 30$ less per night than what I paid, it would be perfectly balanced.

Terrible experience. Never would visit again.

Nothing! It was a terrible experience. It looked nothing like the photos of the hotel. Un recommend.

Dirty, the elevator connections, the staffs they never managed to do what I asked for. Language barriers. They had trouble understanding English. I felt like I was fooled about the information I read from the site.

Overall poor hotel with very few amenities.

Staff friendly

Definitely not a 5 star more like a 3 star property. Bathroom was very dated and getting towels everyday was trying. Breakfast selection poor and getting coffee often a long wait. Pool was nice if only the view never had any sun as the hotel blocked off sunlight so very bad for sitting for some sunshine. Though they claim beach location have to cross busy street to a public beach no hotel restricted area. Lots of people trying to sell you all kinds of things and many massage offers.

Disappointing

The staff was very pleasant, polite and kind. Location is excellent, 3 min. from the beach.

The hotel is very outdated, old furniture, can not open the windows for fresh air. Dirty rugs on hallway, no coffeemaker in the room or paper tissue. The cleaning lady knock on the door at 7:30 in the morning (we are on vacation after all). The breakfast is almost the same everyday. Need a lot of improvements for the money the asked.
