Very clean hotel in an excellent location

The location was perfect, an easy walk to the main attractions but on a quiet street so no street noise. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful on check-in, providing me with a map, list of attractions and a list of restaurant recommendations - two of which I went to and they were good. This was a nice touch! The 2 hour access to the Arab baths was also nice to have, a unique experience.

The pillows were hard which made it hard to sleep well. After Id had a shower in the evening the bathroom started to smell very badly of drains, and still did in the morning. The fridge was noisy at times so I had to unplug it over night to sleep.

Good value for money in a good location, ideal for a short stay in Cordoba.

The hotel is in a very good location, in a quiet street in the old town, with no noisy bars/restaurants immediately nearby. There is no car access but the nearest secure parking garage is only 5 minutes walk and cost 14 Euros for 24 hours. The stay included 2 hours in the Arab baths - a great experience and well worth finding the time to do this. The bedrooms are set around an internal and tranquil courtyard. Our room had no natural light and a window onto the communal courtyard (which didn't matter for just one nights stay), and was a very good size with an excellent shower room (and the best hotel hairdryer I've used, which was a bonus!). There was a fridge in the room, which was useful. The staff were welcoming and very discreet. There is an area in the courtyard with facilities for getting chilled water or for making coffee/tea - all provided. Within 10 - 15 minutes walk of the hotel you can find many places for a drink or meal, both in the old town and in the newer parts of Cordoba, and also walk to the sights such as the Mosque-Cathedral and Roman Bridge.

Only disposable plastic cups were provided for the drinks - it would be better if there were alternatives to cut down on waste. Judging by the number of rooms I don't think it would create too much extra work for the staff to provide cups that can be washed and reused. After using the baths the towelling robes provided by the hotel smell strongly of chlorine so a basket outside the rooms to put these in would be appreciated.
