The property is situated in good location, rooms are clean and owner is helpful. Overall good for budget travelling. It's value for money.

A perfect example of selfless hospitality!

To start with, the host/ owner of the property is a gem of a person. He literally made us feel very comfortable & at home. He was the perfect example of how a host renting an apartment should behave. We checked in late around 8 pm after a long bus travel from Munnar, he understood our situation & dropped us for dinner in his personal car & gave us all the details for the next day. Since we were in Thekkady only for 1 day, we could only complete periyar Lake boating by the time of check out...but in spite of having check in on the other day, he showed patience for us to check out & went out of the way to drop us to the bus station & showed us the restaurant for lunch, also directing us which bus to take for our ongoing journey to Alleppey & few other basic details. I have never experienced such selfless hospitality before & highly recommend this place for anyone traveling to Thekkady for a holiday. Also to add, the periyar tiger reserve/national park is just 1.8 km from this property & elephant ride & spice garden all nearby!

At the twin room downstairs, water is warm not hot...but still manageable. Also, they have a kitchen facility upstairs, where u can get hot water

Superb

The charming accommodation near Periyar Reserve exceeded my expectations. Nestled amidst nature, it offered a serene escape with beautiful views of the surrounding greenery. The room was not only cozy but also spacious. Its proximity to Periyar Reserve allowed for easy access to nature trails and wildlife encounters.
