Fine enough for a quick stay

Easy access and decent location on the north side of Monterey. No real views or anything.

Rooms & bathrooms are tiny and there's not much space with two beds in the room. Not easy to maneuver around the room with a family of four. Also it was a bit noisy every time anyone walked past the room.

Great costumer service very bad place. The rooms are VERY OLD!

The breakfast was good

The rooms had a bad smell, the air conditioner was very old and not working. They gave us a different room and it was exactly the same , the smell and the same old air conditioner that stopped working in the middle of the night. The toilet and bathtub were not very clean, and there was not enough toilet paper , not even half of a roll. We stayed for only one night , we got there at around 9:30 pm and the people who worked there were very friendly and polite so 10/10 for them , the place was a 0/10

Doing the best they can

Very nice staff and clean rooms. Lots of variety for breakfast. Great location for getting to downtown Monterey (10 min drive). Free parking.

I wasn't expecting the motel style outdoor hotel, so I wish there was another level of security like a key card controlled gate around the property, or in the stairwells and elevator. The rooms were small and windows didn't open.

Very good

Nice hotel with a view on the lake. The breakfast was truly great with good selection, even though a bit noisy due to the size of the breakfast room. The room was big enough, clean and well kept, however it is more of a motel type of an accommodation with outside facing door and necessity to have your curtains drawn as there are people passing by your windows.
