The Holiday Inn Basingstoke offers spacious family rooms with a good breakfast selection, value for money, and overall cleanliness. Reception staff were accommodating in allowing early check-in for a (Read More) funeral. However, the experience at the restaurant was disappointing with slow service and low-quality food. Despite this, the reception staff received praise for being fantastic. Overall, a pleasant stay with room for improvement in the dining experience.

Was passable place to stay but wouldn't go back

Room was clean and fairly comfortable

Breakfast was basic. Never got breakfast day we left. We were told it opens at 6.30am but they never let us know on weekends it was 7.30am so we missed breakfast the day we left on Saturday as we planned to leave after 6.30. had paid for it in cost of room Dinner on Thursday night was poor and expensive. Definitely was microwave lasagna and had no pizza for granddaughter. Pint of lemonade turned out to be tonic water. I had Caesar salad with chicken and the chicken was not cooked fresh. Superb

The staff where amazing . Front of hiuse service from Debbie and the team was amazing . Very helpful and engaging.

Very clean and everything I needed was available . Great food and great service . Smily faces all rounds.

The room was OK, it was clean and the bed was comfy, breakfast was good with lots of room to sit. Lots of parking spaces.

When you go in the room, there is no light switch. You have to walk through a dark room to the side of bed to turn the light on. The towel rail barely got warm so the bathroom was always cold, Your tea and coffee weren't topped up when they cleaned your room, so had to keep going to the bar for some. There was an empty bottle of wine by my door when I checked in on the Monday, it was still there Wednesday morning.

Excellent Hotel with all facilities.

The hotel appears to have been redecorated since out last visit some time ago.( excellent) Very nice general facilities and the room we had was well equipped and importantly vey clean indeed. Comfortable bed and crisp linen. We had breakfast at the hotel, all very good, asked for replenishment of some foods which were low and little choice left but this was quickly attended to with a full selection. Good price as well. Good reception staff. Recommended overall and will visit again.

Perhaps ensure the breakfast buffet is offered with a full selection without asking. Nothing else springs to mind.
