Good place to stay near the motorway

Easy check in (at the pub). Good parking facilities and the room was spacious and comfortable. You can pay for brekkie at the pub which had options ranging from a full fry up to a continental.

I was just 2-3 hours late from free cancellation and they didnt respond to me at all whether they ok to accept my cancellation or not. Ended up I have to pay for it. Very irresponsible hotel.

Great for me not so brilliant for my son

My room was good, clean, comfortable bed and good value. For my own room and experience alone I would rate the stay at 5 star. However the hands off service caught my son (same booking). he spent the first night in a room with a significant rain leak which left a large wet area on the carpet and soaked some of his belongings. He was moved to another room but access expired after 24 hours which meant he could not access the new room and all his belongings on the 3rd night. It then took most of the morning to regain access to the room - hence the disparity in ratings

The hotel was more like a hostel then a hotel.

Friendly and very helpful owners and staff, restaurant

There is no reception at the hotel and no phone in the room ( we really needed help getting an ambulance but couldn't reach anybody for help as our phone didn't work well on the Internet in the room) also no smart TV so we couldn't use our fire stick or chrome to watch tv. Also there was no cleaning supplies, like small bottles with soap, shampoo e.t.ct. so we had to buy that very expensive in a vending machine. For the price we paid we were very disappointed

The staff were very nice

Upon entering our room we were hit by the stench of vomit. We requested to change room which resulted in less beds than we paid for. Food at the restaurant was mediocre quality

Comfortable stay with very friendly and helpful staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff, there was an error in my booking that only stated we had one child so the room had only 2 beds. The staff soon rectified this and brought another bed as all the rooms were booked out.

Pub was a bit pricey unless you get there before 5pm

Very good

Room was nice and clean, and there was plenty of towels in my room to last my entire stay (5 days)

There wasn't an Iron in the room on my arrival and no phone in the room to sort one out. I had to go over to the pub - that's where reception is - but it was resolved and put in my room within 10 minutes!!
