Lovely place for a nice break!

Me and my partner stayed here for her 30th birthday for a nice night away in the executive suite. The hotel is absolutely lovely, the whole place was very posh and Modern. The room was outstanding. Lovely and warm, the heating system was great and it was spotless and clean. The spa facilities were fantastic, great pool area and sauna and Jacuzzi. The food and drink in the bar and grill was lovely, one of the nicest meals we've had. The breakfast was lovely too the following morning. The staff were very accommodating and we had everything catered for. Would like to thank Anish and heywood spa for great evening. We'll definitely be recommending to others (already have) and we will definitely be back soon! Thanks all! Lloyd and Holly 205

Liked the hotel's location.Good parking nice quiet area.Good food.

Very disappointed with the pool that was very cold.The availability to use the facilities was poor.Outside hot tub cold as well this was our second visit here bit let down this time.

Piece, quiet and really relaxing.

Loved the room we had. Staff really friendly and helpful. Room was really clean and nothing was any trouble. Loved that the pool area wasn't crowded and it's no problem to book a slot.

The only issue I had but didn't complain about is that I ordered a mojito at the bar on Saturday night, came in a gin glass not a hi ball glass, had cubed ice not crushed as traditionally has and had lemon in it not lime.

Great find for some R&R

Our second stay at Heywood after initially visiting in March. Wonderfully warm, clean and comfortable hotel. Never feels busy, staff are brilliant and couldn't be more helpful. Both breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant were excellent. It's become one of our favourite little getaways for some r&r

Not a huge pool and limited spa facilities if I'm being really picky. But as stated above it never feels busy. The hotel is situated a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Tenby. The initial 800 yards of road as you leave the hotel isn't particularly well lit and there's no pavements. No fault of the hotel, but worth mentioning if your venturing into town one night.

Huge disappointment.

The staff are absolutely lovely - each and every one of them! We've been going to the restaurant for years now - it's a main go-to for a lovely meal out! So we decided to choose the hotel for a very rare night away based on the wonderful experiences we've always had having dinner at the restaurant whether for date night or special events with friends.

I must start with the unfortunate circumstances which were out of the hotel's hands in that the electricity kept tripping most of the night due to a National Grid problem. It did unfortunately put a dampener on our night away as we never get away and had booked to have a slot in the pool/jacuzzi area when the lights went out! Not only could we not make use of that booked treat, a lot of the hotel was lights-out (literally). We ended up sitting in the bar area the entire evening until dinner, which is not what we would usually do and it would've been decent to have at least been offered 1 drink on the house to those of us all cuddled in the bar area with the only lights working! They certainly made a lot more that night in the bar! That aside, my main complaint was the room. We unfortunately had the room right behind reception (Room 101). DO NOT accept staying in this room! Especially at the cost per night! It is the noisiest, most non-private room there no doubt! Not only can you hear drawers etc closing from one side (assumedly from the office behind reception), you can hear absolutely everything IN reception, every step and voice walking past the room on the noisiest floorboards (carpeting does not help!), and the noise from the room above is ridiculous! Not only voices, footsteps, cupboard doors, but the toilet too! Right down to the drain pipe each time the toilet was flushed! AND the room looks straight onto the carpark - straight onto parked cars. A huge disappointment. At that cost, it's just not acceptable. We will never book again.
