I could stay in the first hotel...

*Heated swimming pool *Bed *Earlier check in (we arrived from the 1st hotel around 1pm). Check in is available from 4pm but we've got a phone call around 3 that our room is ready

This was the second hotel during our stay in Malta. Compared to the first one (which was 1000/10), it's an average 7. Quite stylish but tired and not worth this money. To your detriment, unfortunately, I will look at it through the prism of the first hotel I fell in love with, so yours was "ok". Very strange organization in the hotel. It was problematic to use the card to use the elevator (we got 1 card for two people, so we always had to go together). The card didn't work every time, so sometimes we stood in the elevator like idiots and waited to see if the lift would move. Towels were collected at the main reception desk (you had to go upstairs in a bathrobe or with wet hair to the main entrance, and the swimming pool also had its own reception desk). So, it was pointless from my perspective because you have personnel on the swimming pool level anyway. Breakfast also was worse as in the first hotel but still quite "ok". Basic continental/English. But tables with plates and food were close to the toilets and the smell was horrible. We had to change the table to another restaurant side. Definitely more options available for room service. Shame that we didn't use this option as I really wanted Benedict eggs which were refused in the restaurant but were available in room service options. I finished with bacon which I have everyday in UK...

The rooms are spacious, and have a dark interior which is amazing for people who can only sleep in the dark, best nights sleep in a while

The room was amazing, the staff was really friendly and the location was near multiple bus stops which came in handy

The bathroom was separated by a sliding glass door, which meant you could easily hear and see everything that was going on inside

A very different hotel experience

The use of the spa facilities was a big plus for me. We only stayed the night, as we travelled in winter to Malta so after a day sightseeing in the cold , it was so nice to get in to a heated pool or use a sauna and jacuzzi. I used it on arrival and again before I left. The bed was as comfortable and the shower was powerful in the room. The breakfast that was included in the price was delicious and much better then expected then what you normally get in other places. Staff were very kind and accommodating.

Im not going lie, the design of the hotel or the room is just not my taste. Which is fine not every hotel is gonna match to my taste. Black walls and mirrored ceilings are not my bag but it did make me laugh. I guess Im looking for more of calm and serene space. But its my understanding that st Julians is more of party area so maybe the hotel is aligned with that vibe. It was certainly an unusual hotel experience.

Apparently i paid to have a double bed and i got a twin bed. Also when i was about to leave the hotel they messaged me saying that they will do the bed as i requested since it was approved but they was about to do it for nothing since i had to do my check out

Very overrated

The location of the hotel was good. Fancy furniture and design! Near to sea! Very kind and helpful personal ! They have indoor pool what is good at cold time of the year!

1. Its very very very loud at night time! If youre not into parties, this will disturb you very much! 2. Even though the bed is big, its uncomfortable to sleep, because its tough. 3. I spend a week, unfortunately the first 3 days the spa area and the swimming pool was closed. 4. Prices at roof top bar : sorry, but a glass of Heineken cannot cost 6,50. The rooftop bar is small , not enough sitting options near the pool.

Liked location, the decor and mirror on the ceiling.

Stylish, comfy, centrally located hotel in the party area : bars, clubs, restaurants, shopping malls, beaches - everything you need is there. Hotel has spa, on -1, didt experience, it was small and occupied by group of other people that evening.

Long waiting time upon check-in, unavailable spa, issues with light system in the room.
