Pathetic experience. No power supply, even though they are having generator back up, the manager is least bothered about guests. No hot water, had to take bath in chilled water when outside temperature was -1 degree. Not recommended

Not recommended, especially for families due to poor location and lack of service

Among the good things, the rooms were reasonably clean and one could get a view of the Lidder River from the room. Also, it has a nice garden in front of the hotel and one can observe nature sitting there. The hotel is on the highway and easy to locate and there is also ample parking space. For rafters, such a location might be suitable. Also, if the hotel management improves their service, then such a place could be really sought after as it is away from the hustle-bustle of the main market area and one can stay close to nature in peace.

Not recommended Not a pleasant experience to stay 3 nights in this hotel. Very poor location in terms of commuting from Pahalgam which is approx. 13 Km far from Pahalgam's main market area. Either one has to pay exorbitant charges in a tourist car to go to the city center or travel in a shared taxi for which there are no proper timings. After 8 PM in the evening everywhere, it is so dark that one doesn't feel like going outside the hotel. Besides, there are no good restaurants nearby and the hotel does not have any proper room service (except tea/coffee). There was no kettle in the room. The Wi-Fi Internet was unstable. Power cuts are very common here and only one bulb remains functional with the generator back up. One cannot even charge phones and Wi-Fi will be automatically off. I am not sure what happens during winter when a heater and hot water are a must. We had to pay hotel accommodation charges during check-in which was a bit strange and they don't accept payment through debit/credit cards. One can definitely find better options near the Pahalgam market area at this price range with much better facilities.

Took advantage of the downtown location to walk to dinner, check out a couple galleries, and have drinks. It was great. Service top notch as always. Bed comfort can not be beat.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didnt wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.

Worst experience.

Hotel staff was good.

Nothing was good except hotel staff. Location is pathetic, rooms are extra small and there are windows without lock and curtains in room as well as washroom. No exhaust in washroom.

Superb

The staff were friendly,and the service at the free breakfast was fantastic, I would book this hotel this hotel again without hesitation. We had a wonderful stay at the Ariston. The room was beautiful and the location was just great.
