Good value for money

Fantastic value for money for what the hotel is, family friendly so be weary when booking. Rooms were sound, we had a balcony, beds were fine and the bathroom was spacious and modern enough. Maids were in every morning so cleanliness was spot on, there is a bar downstairs which was great and a decent enough sized pool. Hotel is located around the corner from the main area with the bars and is around a 5-10 min walk from the beach.

No complaints for Golden Port at all very good stay.

Superb

Great hotel in Salou would return in the future :)

Me and my partner stayed for 8 days here and had the most wonderful time! Our hotel room was spacious and comfy, and was cleaned really great daily as well as the cleaners hoovering and mopping up. The beds were actually really comfy which I was surprised about since I usually have a hard time getting comfortable in a hotel bed. The bar staff to the reception and cleaners were all really friendly kind and accommodating. I wasnt sure of his name but there was a bald older man who worked at the bar who was so nice and sweet and just gave such a good atmosphere to the hotel The daily evening entertainment in the off season is a really big plus and me and my partner tuned in a few times during our stay as they had some quite good entertainment acts The pools were so great, theres plenty to choose from with plenty of sunbeds so we never struggled to find some as I have in different hotels in the past. There is also an indoor pool thats heated up and a free jacuzzi for everyone to use. My favourite pool had to be the spa pool though, for 10 euro you get a more private area away from all the kids for an hour and 15 min with a really nice pool. The pool had a lot of water jet features like foundations and jacuzzis which we loved along with a sauna and a steam room. I loved it there and booked it like almost every day we were there. The hotel is at a great location, in a quieter area away from the busy strip but only a short walk away and youre there in the main area of Salou, we found the location really ideal, plenty of food places around too. A special thanks to the reception staff as they were always so helpful with whatever me and my partner needed, such as booking us our airport taxi and our trip to the go karting salou (which I would recommend especially if you hate amusement parks and rollercoasters like me lol)

I actually dont have many negatives to say but: We took breakfast only but we found the food okay, not the worst but not the nicest either. In October the pools were so cold! We found ourselves going to the indoor pool more often since it wasnt so cold. However most of the hotel is going to the indoor one so it was quite dirty and packed, with a lot of kids so not much space to swim around. Considering how many pools this hotel has we just couldnt really use most of them because how cold they are. We understand its coming to winter but just thought I should mention. This is not so much a complaint but more so as a comment for young couples such as me and my partner, the hotel is really catered toward families and therefore kids so we found ourselves going to the spa quite often to escape the loudness. we kinda hoped there was an adults only pool (not one you have to pay for) considering the amount of pools there are in the hotel. So just something to keep in mind for any young people or couples just looking to relax. Despite this though it was nothing that would bother us too much to ruin or disturb the experience, we loved our stay here!

Wasn't at all as advertised. None of the spa was included like we were led to believe. If you book through the hotel website Portaventura ticketsbare included. Not if through booking.com for some reason. Staff wouldn't help with anything at all. Walls were paper thin so the rooms were very noisy. Hotel must be 30 years old,l...and looked it

Excellent hotel

The hotel was in an ideal location staff were friendly and obliging A wide selection of food for breakfast/dinner well prepared the place was kept very clean indoor and poolside toilets well maintained quiet at night as requested by hotel generally a well run hotel wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone

Nothing really possibly could have been a better selection of English speaking channels on tv

Relaxing (during off-season), resort style hotel

comfortable resort style hotel - good and daily new choices at the buffet meals, nice pool with plenty of loungers (in off-season, no idea what it's like in the height of summer!), comfortable rooms with nice bathrooms. Good location, short taxi from Vila Seca train. A moments walk to Salou itself and beachfront.

Poolside entertainment was a bit off. Aspects of the hotel decor/atmosphere are very dated, but fine.

Lovely hotel in perfect location

We booked the double room with pool view. The room was a good size with a double and single bed. There was a fridge for drinks and a good balcony. The shower was large and powerful. We were bed and breakfast. The breakfast was a buffet and there was a large selection of hot food, cold meats and cheeses and lots of pastries. There was entertainment throughout the day and both bars had different entertainment each night. It is a short walk to the main road with lots of bars and restaurants but still very quiet on a night. We only stayed for 3 days this time but will be back with more family for a week next year.
