My new favourite place

I loved absolutely everything. This will now be my base whenever I go to the Lakes. The location is stunning, couldn't get enough of the views from my window and everywhere around. The room was a very good size, comfortable, very clean. Staff very friendly but professional. Lovely breakfast with cooked items buffet and some pastries, fruit, cereal and yogurts. Generally lovely facilities, especially the lounge with the fireplace.

The bed was super comfortable very nice sleep . The room and community area was nice and clean very cozy . Breakfast was good , dinner was a bit heavy .

Very good

Beautiful rooms in a stunning location

Beautiful location and allocated a Mountain View room. Very comfortable bed, great shower and warm. Good breakfast. Very friendly reception staff on arrival

The room could have been a little cleaner, pretty grubby just around the window area. I wish all hotels, not just this one but it was particularly noisy here, would invest in soft close doors. Or add foam strips or cushion stops to stop the inconsiderate banging of other guests at all hours. It doesnt take away from the property but this simple hack would give a lot of people much better quality sleep. No room service

excellent location with great food and exceptionally friendly staff

Exceptionally friendly staff. Very good imaginative food. I like the way coffee is served in the lounge which makes for a sociable atmosphere.

Very clean. The sweetest smelling drying room I have ever been in.

Disappointing

poor facilities in the room but lovely location

location, welcoming lovely staff, nice decor.

poor facilities in the room. the toilet didnt flush and the shower was of a cheap standard, didnt work properly, hot water hit & miss.

Good and Bad

The location was great. Lots of parking and the breakfast was lovely. Very comfortable bed and great value for money. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful.

The guests in the room next door were exceptionally loud and vocal until 1.30- 2am. I asked them to keep the volume down on a couple of occasions but gave up by 2am. Not the best as I was planning on getting up at 5 for a long day hiking the hills. Also there was some sort of boiler/generator outside my window. If it wasn't making a loud humming noise, it was churning steam out!
