Exceptional

A stunning stay!

Hotel staff were beyond helpful and went out of their way to assist us. They spoke amazing English. The rooftop and pool area is small but has a beautiful view and is next to the bar/ restaurant. The room is decorated so nicely and the bed is the most comfortable I've slept in in Colombia so far. The bathroom is really equipped with toiletries etc. Would highly reccomend a stay here.

Location: Picturesque views of the city and convenient for the fort and modern shopping mall, short (15 min) walk to old town. Staff: friendly and helpful at every opportunity, attentive to our needs (our communication was in Spanish) Food: Breakfast was tasty and with a plethora of cold and hot options as well as a cooked eggs menu included. We ate dinner in the hotel twice and the food was nourishing and tasty. The restaurant is open until 10pm most days except Sunday. Room: Spacious and adequately designed, comfortable beds. Mostly quiet at night. Facilities: pool and terrace with views over the city and fort, ideal for a cocktail and cool down after a hot and sweaty day of sightseeing. A full time concierge available to arrange excursions out of the city, very approachable and professional offering bespoke experiences.

Location: the area around the fort has many peddlers, dirty streets, bad traffic, homelessness and can be dangerous to tourists at night. Security is present outside the hotel and police are usually in and around the fort. Food: it being Columbia we expected the coffee to be a bit nicer, however it was better than you would get in most north American hotels. The restaurant wasn't as cheap as eating out but more convenient. Room: although working the aircon was rattly and not very powerful. The drain in the shower was prone to blockage and flooding the bathroom. The sinks, although aesthetically pleasing, had a square design that meant they didn't drain very well. Facilities: the pool may be smaller than expected, more for bathing than swimming.

Great location and service, good amendities, but rooms a bit noisy

Great service from all staff members, great facilities and amazing view. Perfect location too, very convenient with a mall right by the hotel if you need to buy anything and about a 15min walk to the old city centre with many cool restaurants and bars (we felt safe walking both during the day and at night).

The noise! There was constantly music playing in the hallway which you could hear from the room, and the aircon in the room was extremely loud so it was impossible to put it on and rest/sleep at the same time. Also, the pool is much smaller than on the pictures

A lovely hotel in an excellent location.. the pool, the view.. awesome! Highly recommend.

Breakfast was excellent - a very good spread Room facing the street was a little noisy but asked to move and the room was perfect. Great location to explore with taxis inexpensive to get around. Room itself clean and spacious. Staff throughout the hotel were excellent especially the Manager at front desk. I would stay here again. Recommend. Pool was awesome

The facilities were ideal but the staff made the trip! They were so welcoming after a long journey and throughout!! Huge thanks to the team for helping us rebook a trip after we were let down with a no-show from an online booking, above and beyond at every stage!

It was close to a mall nearby.

The shower drain backed up every time even though the staff was told twice about it. There was no forced-air vent in the bathroom. The door latch got stuck. There was only one small soap in the bathroom that was not replaced daily. Despite the above issues, it was a fine stay because I had low expectations before the trip.

Perfect stay on our way to Baru

Great rooms with comfortable beds. Very friendly service and breakfast buffet was very good ( finally not only eggs). 2 min walking to big shopping mall

Not close to center but we only stayed 1 night as layover to go to Isla Baru so was perfect

Great, comfortable and best of both worlds.

The breakfast was delicious with a variety of food and the restaurant menu was also amazing. We had the chicken soup that was even customized a bit to our taste and it was perfect and for a reasonable price. The staff is super and checks up on you and is very amicable. The room had an amazing king size bed which was superrr comfortable. The location was prime because you had a historic castle in front of you in walking distance and on the back side of the hotel you have a shopping mall, so modern and history all close by. Also you could grab a cab that will take you to the famous walls and getsemani, both recommended to see.
