The hotel's historic ambiance and festive Christmas decorations were a highlight for many visitors. The nearby parking garage and Starbucks in the lobby were also appreciated. Some guests were disappointed that the hotel no longer has a pool.

The staff was very kind. The location was great.

The bathroom was a little dirty. You need to CLR the faucets and bathtub. The bed was also kind of uncomfortable.

I'll come back to stay at Gettysburg hotel again.

The location was perfect and beautiful the entrance of the hotel face the traffic circle where a big beautiful Christmas tree was placed. I traveled with my kids first time to Gettysburg Couple of restaurants and nice stores where accessible, the parking lot behind the hotel was a plus. The front desk agent Tryton was so friendly, fast to process the checking and very professional. All the staff that I interacted with was super nice always smiling and welcoming. I requested to Tryton a room with a view and a microwave and I got my request right away with not hesitation. I liked how the hotel was decorate for Christmas time so I wanted to take a family picture using my phone timer and suddenly a young man of the room service staff was walking by and stoped to do what he was doing and offered to take our family picture., that was so sweet and kind. The 2 ladies bartenders were fun and friendly. To have a fireplace inside the room was delightful. The others guests I meet in the hall, lobby or elevator were very friendly and I feel safe during all my stay. We were so welcomed during our 3 days in the hotel.

Only one thing... it would be so nice if the facing out windows glasses were clean to enjoy the view better.

No mini fridge in the room for drinks and the ice maker on my floor was not working

Very clean friendly staff

When I got there they said they didnt have a king available and had to give me 2 queens . I booked this room months in advanced so I dont understand why I didnt get a king size bed

Love the location but probably would not stay here again until there was a total remodel of location

Location was excellent in Lincoln Square. It was very convienient to be able to walk to everything downtown and enjoy the shopping. Having a Starbucks attached was an added bonus.

First negative was parking. You have to drive down an alley to park in a public parking garage and you don't realize that's where you park for the hotel until after you check in. Secondly, the rooms are incredibly small. Thank goodness I booked junior suites or I can imagine how small they would have been. Housekeeping is horrible. They barely made up the bed (my 10 y/o does a better job) and the bathroom is just gross. I expected more from a location like this.

Great location, comfortable and friendly staff

Great location! The hotel is at the very center of town with fun shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel was very comfortable from the lobbies (bar/Starbucks) to the rooms. Parking was extra but safe and very easily accessible. We thought about cheaper motels outside of the town center and are glad we chose to stay at the Gettysburg Hotel instead. I also need to compliment the staff. We arrived at 2:00 in the morning and the staff was friendly and waiting for us!

I really can't think of anything to improve.

It felt pretty special being right in the center of town and all the holiday festivities!

The location is fantastic! I love being right in the center of town, especially at the holidays. And the hotel itself is great for when you need a break from all that eating and shopping!

I know this has been a thing since COVID, but I wish that mini fridges came in all the rooms. I know I could have asked, but for what we paid for the room, it should already be there.
