Superb

Huge ammount of comfortable space for family to spread out in

Lovely house with 20M covered swimming pool, pool table, lawns and loads of space. Host provided bath/pool/beach towels and soaps washing liquid diswasher tabs loo roll and some tea and coffee. Well equiped kitchen. Very helpful host. Really nice sandy beach about 15 min walk (holiday walking speed). Easy to drive to Porto in about 15 mins and we always found free parking south of the Louis 1 bridge.

The pool isnt heated so on overcast days it is a bit chilly. Good for proper swimming as you warm up after a few lengths. It did warm up during our stay.

The villa is gorgeous, Extremely spacious and great products available to use.The pool was fabulous.

location was good, 15 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes walk to the train station and 15 minutes into Porto. Trains very reasonably priced (once you understand the ticket machine)

Not the fault of the property but the neighbourhood has a lot of dogs which bark all the time. we could have done with another set of keys so we could go out in separate groups.

Villa Francelos, activities for the entire family and a garden lovers paradise

The owner of the property, - our host, was so incredibly warm and just wanted our family of 2 adults and 4 children (ages 9, 13,13 and 15), to enjoy her property as much as possible. She went above and beyond to try and cater to our family, bringing new toys for the pool she thought the children would enjoy, - as if we didn't have enough to enjoy at this Villa with all the amenities! Honestly this property has EVERYTHING! - there is no excuse to be bored here!. I simply cannot rate this villa or the owner enough, garden lovers MUST BOOK!!! - you won't regret it - she has the most incredible place - like a paradise! The walk to the local beach was short enough for my little legs child to cope on hot days, (about 12 mins) there's a corner shop (2/3 minute walk) with incredible fresh bread every morning ( closed on Sundays) next to the shop is the train station - you can catch into Porto City center for next to nothing, and Ubers are never far away, - depending on time of the day they usually cost between 15 and 40 for a 6 person car, I simply wish we hadn't had to leave in the night time for our flights and had the opportunity to meet our host one final time to share with her our thanks and appreciation - thank you so much for sharing your property with our family! from all of us - Dannielle, Will and girls x
