Amazing place for visiting York!!

Property was immaculate, centrally located and the information provided by the owners was first class. The house has a supply of everything you need. Plenty of TV options, dvds and books along with all the essential requirements of a kitchen.

Great communications from the owners. We had a lovely stay and the accommodation met all our needs.

Lovely comfortable property in a quiet location. Short distance walk into York, and great shops to cover basics nearly on the doorstep.

Very good

Location was perfect for going into York and the hosts were great at communicating.

Only thing that would have made it better for us would be making slightly more child friendly with a stair gate.

Superb

The best place in York to stay with 2 bedrooms!

2 bedrooms was a godsend! A separate lounge was great! Milk, coffee, tea, ginger biscuits, cupboards stocked for cooking with basics like oil etc. Owners gave lots of amazing information. Lots of books available to swap with your own. Easily within walking distance to York, free parking across the road, just unload at the door first. Proper dining area, kitchen with all mod cons, very comfortable beds, hot and powerful shower. Lots of storage space, bedrooms very spacious, just so good! Highly recommended would tel anyine going to York to stay here works out cheaper than a Travelodge as you make your own meals and you have a proper house to stay in with your own space. Spar around the corner and huge Tesco a bit further up the road.

Location was fantastic.

Shower was broken. There is no garden, it was a small run down depressing yard, uncared for with dead plants, which had not been cleaned for a while. Damp patch in room leading off the kitchen with peeling paper. Next door neighbour was very loud during the second night, there is no insulation/soundproofing

Excellent host, very comfortable unit.

Communication with the host was excellent organising parking and providing lots of local sightseeing and eating advice. Unit was very comfortable, like a home away from home. Short walk into York City. Small supermarket close by.

Lovely little and well-catered house, close to York center

Simple but effective house. Close to city center. Great kitchen. Really clean with comfy beds. Quiet area. There are loads of places to eat around the house.

The house is well decorated but a little dark. This is very much a personal thing rather an issue because there is a theme and it is well done.
